Magloire, a wing out of St. John's Prep in Massachusetts, checks in at #5 among the shooting guards and #23 overall. One of the top freshmen in the MIAA last season, he's taken his game to another level this winter. Primarily a paint scorer last season, his perimeter game has really developed, particularly his ability to consistently knock down threes. He's got good positional size, plus length, and is a solid athlete, all of which allows him to make an inside-out impact on both ends of the floor. Defensively, his ability to rebound, both in space and in traffic, stands out.

Washington, a guard out of CATS Academy in Massachusetts, checks in at #6 among the shooting guards and #24 overall. A big and physical guard, Washington does a nice job of making plays off the bounce, leveraging his strength as a downhill driver to get to the rim, where he finishes at a high rate. He plays at different speeds as a ball-handler and shows the ability to direct an offense as a secondary ball-handler. Defensively, he's willing to sit in a stance and really makes opponents work to get to their spots, showing good lateral mobility on that end of the floor.

Spears, a guard out of Notre Dame Prep in Connecticut, checks in at #15 among the shooting guards and #87 overall. Spears excels on the defensive end of the floor, where his combination of positional size and length, allows him to guard up and down a lineup. He uses his length to be disruptive in passing lanes and, as an on-ball defender, to make life difficult for opposing ball-handlers. Offensively, he does a nice job of getting out and running the floor in transition, where he can finish plays with athleticism at the rim or stretch the floor as a shot maker from behind the arc.

Berry, a guard out of Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, checks in at #16 among the shooting guards and #88 overall. Berry has developed a bit of a reputation for his ability to consistently knock down perimeter jumpers in catch and shoot situations, however, it's his ability to make plays off the bounce that has started to turn heads. At 6'2", he's got good size and, with his improved handle, shows the ability to operate on or off the ball in the half-court. He's got a quick first step, some real wiggle in tight spaces, and the ability to finish with creativity around the rim. As he continues to add strength, his offensive game should only continue to improve.

Parris, a guard out of the South Kent School in Connecticut, checks in at #20 among the shooting guards and #116 overall. Admittedly, upon further reflection, we've probably under-rated Parris here, as the sophomore has been one of the best perimeter shooters in this class through the first half of the season. The 6'3" can really light it up in catch and shoot situations, and, as defenses have adjusted to his shooting ability, he's shown that he's capable of putting the ball on the floor and finishing at the rim with both length and touch. He's a prospect to monitor this winter and should be a major stock riser in our next update.
