We see your highlight videos on social media we are sending! And today we are reviewing them in our Early December Prospect Review.

[player_tooltip player_id='1808444' first='Liam' last='Bernatz'] of Hastings. The 5'11 point guard has played a big part in the Raiders starting the season 2-0 with wins over New Prague and Red Wing. [player_tooltip player_id='1560773' first='Matthew' last='Foss'] has 65 points in two games, [player_tooltip player_id='2398951' first='Brady' last='Hendrickson'] has scored 43 points in the two games and Liam has given the team another scoring option and a distributor to these talents (along with Foss and Hendrickson). Liam is a crafty junior. He is going to pivot, fake, fake again, and using his crafty quickness to find an angle to release a shot. That crafty play has also led to Bernatz drawing a number of fouls this season (10 of 14 from the free throw line in two games). Really good passer as well from what we have seen.

[player_tooltip player_id='2848199' first='Asani' last='Kennedy'] of Eastview. The junior has a highlight video I loved because it involved so many impact plays hustling around the court. Showed the stat line of seven rebounds, five assists, five steals and four blocks, and we saw them too! Loved the consistency of being in the passing lanes turning the other team over, really liked the loose ball collections that Kennedy turned into positives for his team, and I surely liked the block from behind just before the half. No quit, took away a shot. There were a number of good passes plus Asani made five of seven attempts and we saw each of those five scores: some hustle to the rim, some baskets were balanced jumpers. All around impact!

[player_tooltip player_id='2140668' first='Michael' last='Kincaid'] of Princeton. Michael is a six foot one junior who recently scored 23 points on 8 of 13 shooting in a game with Foley. That game included four of five three point shooting and most importantly helped the Tigers improve to 3-0 on the season. What do you see from Michael as you look on the video? Princeton is a team that will move the ball and force you to work hard late in a possession. And if you don't, you have to deal with a player like Michael wide open with feet set ready to knock out the jumper which he did putting Foley away.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381221' first='Carter' last='Lowis'] of Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial. The 6'11, 210 pound center in the 2027 class that put himself on the map with [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] and in the summer/fall camps is really starting to catch the eye. Has a nice touch with range, really good length on the defensive end that he does a good job getting in front of the ball, and hands to catch after the screen going to the rim. There is a lot of [player_tooltip player_id='2815217' first='Logan' last='Junkermeier'] here and I think if he continues to take strides in his final two years he will be getting all the same D2 attention around here as a 17u player and likely some area D1s from the Summit will have a look. Surely a player that will have coaches in the local gyms at a constant rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560760' first='Kyler' last='Pust'] of Champlin Park. With Gavin out the Rebels have needed somebody to step forward to score and Kyler has been that player. He has made half of his threes while scoring 18.6 points per game and grabbing eight boards a contest. The threes made, the quick bursting attacks beating the primary defender, those items speak for themselves. What really caught my eye was the various traffic finishes: Kyler taking some contact and then finishing at the cup after contact, or getting downhill to the rim so fast that the three defenders that converged were all to late to affect the shot because of the Pust speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140673' first='Omar' last='Said'] of Mounds Park Academy. When I see Said play the first thing I think of is the quick release and the form on the touch. Omar has a very nice looking touch and he knocked out four threes on his way to a 21 point game in a win over Hill-Murray. Omar has a scoring feel and big load of confidence to go with it. He is the leading MPA scorer. Omar also grabbed ten boards in this game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2710243' first='Sefi' last='Whittington'] of St. Paul Central . So shifty. And so quick from one move to the next. The defenders were reacting to one move while Sefi was getting to his next move crossing over, stepping back, etc and hitting timed and balanced shots. This will only allow him to help himself and others going forward as he starts to use this to get to an attack to playmake, or to draw the help and move the ball in addition to taking shots in space (shots in space that are really beneficial later in the shot clock as opposed to early). When it comes to being a feet set shooter for his teams to rely on, Sefi looks to be there. Hit five of ten threes against St. Paul Academy and this is a player that hit eight of them against Byron in the past calendar year. Scored 25 points total in this game with eight boards and I really liked his secondary break finishes going at the rim

[player_tooltip player_id='1560851' first='Hamze' last='Yusuf'] of Eden Prairie. The senior guard recently scored 33 points against St. Louis Park. Yusuf opened the game with four basket attacks using that speed to get to the rim on the corner turn. And as we have seen from Yusuf in the past, his speed allows him to finish in small windows at the rim. What we haven't seen but saw here, was finishing equally with both the right and the left. And once the defense had to step back, Yusuf hit two threes. Then the defense defended tight with help that was more aware on the back side, and Hamze hit a pair of pull-ups. Always one step ahead of the defense. Hamze hit four threes in all.
