The countdown is on and the Sophomore ID Camp tips off this Sunday, September 7th, and the stage is set for some of the area's top young talent to shine. With confirmed players ready to bring their best on both ends of the floor, this event promises to showcase rising stars eager to make their mark. From offensive firepower to lockdown defense, expect high level competition, breakout performances, and names you'll want to remember.    Caban showed he can score the basketball early in his first year of play. Averaging 11.1 points per game on the freshman team before adding 4.5 per game after moving up to JV. The scoring ability is clearly there and now we want to see how he gets it. At the showcase we'll be watching how he creates his looks for himself. Does he read and use screens to free himself in the corner, or leverage a quick first step to attack the lane and finish? In addition showcasing his shot creation tools will help round out his offensive profile and make his scoring threat even more dynamic     Coet had a summer that vaulted him onto the watchlist. It was highlighted by a 38-point outburst at Colorado Live where he was lethal from deep. He's proven he can step back and knock down the three ball with confidence. At the showcase we'll be looking to see him expand that arsenal. By putting the ball on the floor, attacking the basket, and showing that full scoring versatility. Furthermore if he can pair his perimeter shooting with consistent rim pressure, he'll become an even tougher cover and solidify himself as a complete offensive weapon     Cordova is coming off a freshman season where he averaged 3 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in limited minutes. The showcase provides a perfect stage for him to get his name on the map and display the depth of his offensive game. We want to see him put it all together and use his ability to attack the lane, finish in traffic, and impact the game from start to finish. A strong, complete performance here could elevate his stock and show he's ready for a bigger role     Lewis brings length, upside, and mobility, with the ability to run the floor and anchor the interior defensively. At the showcase, we'll be looking for him to use that size and athleticism to control the paint.
