. Hes 5″11 but plays like hes 6’3 tough physical hard defender who will flat out guard you on one end then use his strength and quickness to go right by you on the other end. Hard driver and strong finisher at the basket through contact but can also step outside and nock down a three if left open. He’s a mutli skilled guard who’s only gotten better the last couple years with no sign of slowing down.
Tracy had an outstanding club season with JVT. What made Anthony stand out was his defense, court speed, and the disruption he caused on both ends of the floor. PHD expects Mr. Tracy to have a super-solid sophomore season.
A strong and powerful athlete, especially for a 2029. Tracy was very impressive earlier this spring. Anthony always seems to be the fastest player on the hardwood; he thrives in transition. Tracy defends well, forces many turnovers, and creates going downhill off the bounce.
Anthony is well above his age in finding the open area on the floor. He cuts hard and runs the floor with a motor that just doesn’t stop. His hustle and hard work put him above almost all his competition before we even talk about his game. His first step is very fast, and he attacks his defenders top foot and hip well. Most of his points come at the rim with a variety of finishes, yet he can get hot from deep. Another great on ball defender.
Tracy was the most explosive and sudden athlete in the 14U division. That equated him to be the best transition guard and best at blowing by defenders off of the dribble. He was an absolute blur in the open court, weaving through multiple defenders. He turned defensive plays and steals on the ball into immediate offense for Heiser. A suffocating defender that played defense the full length of the court. Tracy seemed to have elite conditioning as well. I didn’t notice him getting tired or slowing his pace on the court. If he develops his three-point jumpshot, he could become a very serious player.
