Gage scored just 9 points but was ultra efficient with his touches tonight. Had a beautiful left hand finish on a reverse layup off of an OB Play. Couple blocks shots in a game is nothing new as his size and length changes the opposing offense just by him being in the game. Had two nice power drop step finishes for scores. Big man can realy get up and down the floor also in transition.

Gage was very good and efficient with his opportunities tonight and was 8-10 from the field scoring 16 points but also collecting 11 rebounds and adding 4 blocks. When Gage does get a post touch you can almost count it, his footwork is excellent, touch around the basket is top notch and when he is doubled he’s a more then willing passer/also seems to have a great feel for when the double team is coming.

Gage plays on an extremely talented team of dudes and doesn’t always get the hype he deserves. His long 6’7 body and wing span, coupled with balanced foot work, and court speed make him a must see big in SD. Gage has a sweet baby hook with great touch around the rim. His motor is high and he does a great job at owning the little things in his role. I am unaware of Sippel having an offer at this time, but serious NAIA, D3, and JUCO’s need to look in here.

Gage was one of the lengthiest prospects at the camp. That immediately makes him standout on the court. He’s vertically-gifted as well and can play above the rim. A key piece in the paint for Groton Area.
