The freshman played a key role in helping Petersburg capture a state title this season, and it likely won’t be the last championship in Bacot’s high school career. A combo guard with good size and strength, he pairs his physical tools with a very high basketball IQ and advanced feel for the game. Bacot sees the floor like a much more experienced player, making him a strong facilitator, but he is also capable of being an effective scorer from both the perimeter and at the rim. . I came away from Rock Hill extremely impressed with the younger brother of former UNC Star Armando Bacot. Despite being listed as a SG, King played more like a true PG in front of me in the Wednesday Showcase Game. He displayed a great feel for running offensive sets, penetrating the defense, finding teammates, and creating his own buckets. At 6’3″, Bacot already has a size advantage over most Guards despite being the youngest on the floor. He put up 10 points and 6 assists in the opener.
