Womack transferred to Petersburg this summer after winning a state championship at West Charlotte, and in his first action with them he showed why he’s being so highly touted by division one schools as he is perhaps one of the better shot makers I have seen in my decade of scouting. He drilled shots from deep with excellent form and deep range like it was nothing, he got to spots off the bounce to create space to get into his shot, he showed he doesn’t need a ton of room to get said shot off and when he gets it going it doesn’t matter how good of defense you play, and he is a very good finisher around the rim with athleticism and craft with both hands.

-Womack transfers into Petersburg and should serve as a pretty seamless addition to the program with a tenacious brand of two way basketball. Womack hits gaps in the defense effectively to jump passing lanes and create transition opportunities for a team that is particularly deadly on the fastbreak. Womack can guard multiple positions, play on or off the ball in transition, and utilizes his speed and size in the halfcourt to serve as an effective tasmanian devil help defender within Petersburg’s system.

Walker starred for Team Loaded South throughout the grassroots season and makes the move to Petersburg High School for his junior year. The athletic, shifty guard is a high level shot maker and capable three level scorer who can consistently create and convert shots both off the catch and off the bounce. Walker plays with a high basketball IQ and has the skill and creativity to generate offense in a variety of ways. He averaged nearly 20 points per game during adidas play in July, establishing himself as one of the more productive scorers in the class.

Team Loaded South 3SSB 16u had a really strong weekend in Rock Hill, only dropping one game to Compton Magic and winning all of their others. Womack was both productive and efficient in his efforts as he averaged 19.8 Points, 3.8 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, and 1.6 Steals on 44/42/75 shooting splits. Womack’s ability to maintain strong efficiency on the volume he scores at is really impressive along with how active he is at the defensive end of the floor. Womack is already near the top of this stacked class and he actually will likely get a little bump in his ranking after what was a special month for the 2028 guard out of Charlotte. His ability to make shots is without a doubt his calling card and his overall game is really strong as well.

Womack is one of the more dynamic shot creators in North Carolina regardless of class and that was on full display in West Charlotte’s victory on Friday night. He had the keys to the car and found a way to get to his spots and make shots with consistency while maintaining control of the game throughout. Womack plays with a chip on his shoulder and a confidence that translates to his teammates. He’s got great footwork off the bounce, allowing him to create separation to hit shots. Womack is showing more frequent flashes of his point guard abilities, making pocket passes out of ball screens and smart pitch aheads on the break. There’s still a lot of untapped upside while being a real game breaker right now. Womack will continue to be a factor near the top of this 2028 class.

Womack’s star has been shining brighter and brighter over the last six months and he enjoyed a successful live period with Team Loaded South 3SSB 16u helping guide this group to a 3-1 weekend. Womack averaged 15.3 Points, 2.0 Rebounds, 1.5 Assists, and 0.5 Steals per game on the session. Womack’s ability to generate offense for himself is incredibly valuable and he proved to showcase not only that but a more well rounded game than the first session in California. Womack was able provide this team with that reliable scoring, the ability to bail a team out late in possessions, and a guy that has a super rugged approach to getting the job done. Womack will be a priority out of this absolutely stacked 2028 class for many next level programs.

Maybe the top performance I saw all day, Womack knocked down four 3-pointers in the first half with three coming from the same spot in the left corner and the last being a four-point play for his team. With a long wingspan and a high release point, Womack could knock down shots over late contests, and this wingspan gives him defensive upside down the road. Down three with five seconds left in regulation, Womack knocked down a cold-blooded step-back 3-pointer to send the game to overtime and then in overtime with his team down one hit a tough isolation move on his defender to score at the rim and win the game. Incredible performance to secure the victory for his team.

Womack is showing how lethal he can be as the bonafide go-to option with Team Loaded South 16u 3SSB. He helped lead the group to a 2-2 finish on the weekend while averaging 18.8 Points, 1.3 Rebounds, 0.8 Assists, and 0.8 Steals per game on 38/32/86 shooting splits. Womack should be able to find a way to improve upon his efficiency and impact beyond scoring but understands the task at hand as the primary self creator for this group. Womack can flat out take a game over scoring the basketball and as he finds a way to improve the efficiency, he’ll continue to shine for this group.

Womack is a premier shooter in The State of North Carolina and cemented his status as one of those guys with the way he helped lead West Charlotte to a State Championship. Luckily for his Team Loaded South 3SSB group, that momentum carried over and Womack helped lead the charge as they captured a championship at The Big Shots Rise Tip-Off. Womack is a guy that you cannot let get comfortable with open jumpers because he’s simply too good and will make you pay for leaving him. Womack is legit 6’5″ now allowing him to shoot over smaller defenders with ease. Womack finished with 19 in the championship win over Harvest Development with his full scoring arsenal on display. Expect Womack to get more and more national recruiting attention as he continues to stack big performances like this.

Womack continues to look like one of the better young guards in the state. He’s got good size, plays through contact, and finishes well in transition. What stood out most was his confidence—he didn’t look out of place at all and produced consistently, especially in the championship.
