McWhorter posted 12 points in a win over the Playmakers on Saturday in Ohio while showcasing his effectiveness as a frontcourt prospect in the 2027 class. He is most comfortable operating around the basket, where he embraces physical play, scores on the block, and consistently finishes around the rim. He rebounds well and plays with a high motor, bringing energy and activity on both ends of the floor. McWhorter also showed the ability to attack from the perimeter with straight line drives and possesses the athleticism to finish above the rim when given space.
McWhorter continues producing like one of the steadiest big men in the class. MJ runs the floor hard and finishes effectively around the rim with soft hands. He excels diving out of ball screens where he catches and converts quickly around the basket.
