Top 250 Expo: Bigs to Watch

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our annual Top 250 Expo is Saturday in Louisville and there's a good group of players signed up! With nearly 80 players signed up already, there is a lot of talent expected in the gym. Here's a look at some bigs and posts to watch. They are in no particular order.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Southwestern's [player_tooltip player_id='2171645' first='Jarett' last='Simpson'] is a stretch or face up big at 6'7. He's got the ability to shoot and is fluid around the bucket.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2125700' first='Braden' last='Wright'] of Edmonson County is a little smaller than a typical big at 6'5 but he's a highly efficient scorer at the rim.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2175423' first='Riley' last='Mollette'] of Model was really good at our last 250 Expo and has a chance to be a really good small school prospect at the college level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nicholas County's [player_tooltip player_id='2320639' first='Braxton' last='Martin'] averaged 12 and 3 last season and has flashed some good potential. Definitely a name to watch.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>West Jessamine Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1543596' first='Simon' last='King'] has been a very solid player at past Prep Hoops events. Interested to see how much he has improved over the last year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1751496' first='Ferlandas' last='Wright'] is our second ranked 2027 and just earned his first D1 offer. He'll have a target on his back at camp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Frederick Douglass' [player_tooltip player_id='1955757' first='Nate' last='Coen'] has a crazy high upside and just keeps getting better. He'll have a chance to boost his stock further this Saturday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bell County's [player_tooltip player_id='2149111' first='Ethan' last='Buell'] averaged 15 and 6 for the Bobcats last season. I'm interested to see him compete with some of these bigger names.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Apollo big man [player_tooltip player_id='2122448' first='Landon' last='Henning'] is the tallest prospect at camp at 6'9 and he'll have a chance to show why D1 schools have been stopping by to see him this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Taylor County's [player_tooltip player_id='1543591' first='Bryten' last='Close'] is probably the only big man who will play football Friday and come to basketball on Saturday. He'll look to show why he's Kentucky's top ranked Center in 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Livingston Central big man [player_tooltip player_id='2170505' first='Logan' last='Wring'] has been a double-double machine for the Cardinals.
