Ryan Svenson | Prep Hoops Scout
The big man had a nice season for the Mustangs, where his basketball iq & skill level were on display. He showed a nice face up game & the ability to make the right pass when needed. Continued improvement on his body will lead to a big senior season.

Lean, athletic 6-foot-6 forward impressed with his abilities on both sides of the ball. Got to his spots offensively facing the basket and flashed a sweet looking jumper out past three-point range. The Milwaukie junior didn’t force the action and was also active looking for teammates. Defensively, used his athleticism and length to be a factor defending the rim as a shot-blocker. (JT)

It’s been a bit of a rough year in terms of wins and losses at Milwaukie this season with their young and inexperienced roster, but one shining light has been Yamashita. While the young post is still developing, he’s shown the ability to score inside while also having a nice face-up jumper, and has posted some double figure scoring games this year. (+21, from #77 to #56)
