A strong, physical presence who brings natural leadership and commands attention on both ends of the floor. His scoring ability forces defenses to load up and overcommit, which he does a great job exploiting to create advantages for himself and others. He possesses a dangerous shooting stroke from deep and uses convincing ball fakes to get defenders leaning before attacking the openings they give him. Beyond his scoring, he is an underrated passer who can recognize defensive rotations and turn pressure into quality opportunities for his teammates.

Kelly is pretty consistent game in and game out.  The skilled point forward does what he does at a very high level every time we see him.  Plus plus shooter with one of the best shooting strokes in the state both pulling up and off the catch.  Elite passing feel with his high IQ and vision seeing over the defense thinking one step ahead.  An area we saw growth was his defense as he played quality defense against a pair of teams with solid wing athletes.  The one stretch that impressed us was when he defended on the perimeter for multiple seconds, forced a tough shot on contest, snatched rebound, pushed the other way, then threw an on the point dime.

Kelly is the real deal!  The Neuqua Valley small forward is one of the most skilled players in the entire country in his class.  He is a point-forward with elite passing instincts both in the half court and open floor.  The way he sees the game is super impressive!  Quality rebounder with a clean looking jumper that can shot fake getting to the rim.  Such a well rounded player that can beat a team in so many different ways!
