NorCal 2027's at 3SSB Championships Rock Hill

PH NorCal spent Tuesday, and the first half of the day Wednesday at The 3SSB Championships in Rock Hill, South Carolina. We got the opportunity to see the Class of 2027 prospects from NorCal compete in a competitive environment against quality competition.      Hudson is running the point guard position with Dream Vision 15. He shows a willingness to learn all the details of running a team. He was patience up top keeping his dribbles live, waiting for plays to develop. His passing was spot on, in transition with long passes up and his vision in the half-court. He had good shot selection. The mid-range off the dribble was going in.     Gray is tuning his body, and looks to sharpen his overall skill set from the guard position. He's finishing and dealing with the physical play on drives into the paint. He's under control but gets aggressive making his moves for transition buckets. He's keeping defenders off balance when he makes his moves.     He's doing a solid job of handling the point guard duties with Lillard 16's. He has the handles, vision and patience to run half-court sets. He handles ball pressure and double teams with vision and good passing when he's not breaking by defenders bringing it up court. He's using his dribble to get into the paint, and for mid-range jumpers that go in.     He's a rising point guard in the NorCal Class of 2027. He has a good feel for the game, and a good set of skills to have effect working both guard positions. He has the vision and willingness to move the ball. He can get hot dropping 3's, mid-range jumpers, and floaters in the paint.     He's serving as the man in the middle, going up against quality bigs at this event. He's an improving prospect in the 2027 class with an expanding range to drop corner 3's. He needs to bulk up a bit, but he's got the length and improving footwork, and touch around the rim to get his points in paint. He'll being challenged aggressively attack defenders his size at this event.     He's an intriguing prospect with good size, a lengthy body, active arms and foot speed. He doesn't really have a set position, that makes him a versatile prospect who can do other things. He's moving the ball, making the pass from different areas on the court. He makes hard cuts to the basket, sets solid screens, and can play perimeter to the post. He runs the court both ways. We've seen him work from the high post, finding cutters, and shooters. He helps rebound and gives good effort on defense.     He was a spark, aggressively trying to find a way to help his team. He has a quality skill and is growing into the point guard. With that being said, he can get aggressive looking for his shot opportunities. He has good foot speed and moves, with quality handles to put up mid range jumpers, and 3's. He plays with confidence.     He's a hard play making guard that works on both ends. He's fast, with a good skill set. He works hard defending full court, with lateral movement. He handles and has good vision passing, he's a ball movers, always cutting looking for the pass. He can hit the mid-range and drop a 3 if it's there.
