Miller has dynamic handles, keeps the dribble alive to survey the floor, has a plethora of moves to shake his defender, using the crossover combos, hezzy, fadeaway, step-back, and spin-move to get space from his opponent, has good hang time and body control when in the air, is accurate with the jumper from the mid-range to the 3-point line off the dribble, and is a creativity scorer around the basket, using the euro-step, up-and-under, and reverse lay-ups to score among height. Miller moves fluidly off the ball to get to his shooting spots, is a knockdown threat moving without the ball and off ball screens to get open, lets it fly when he gets open for the catch and shoot look, and opens up the court for him or teammates to attack off the wing. Miller has active hands, great instincts, and great court awareness to jump passing lanes, deflect passes, or poke the ball out to get out and run in transition. Miller is a high energy player that doesn’t take plays off and is ready for the big moment in games.

He gets by defenders, will hit mid-range jumpers off the dribble, knock down open 3’s. He’s got the quicks to defend on ball.

Miller played with great pace all night against O’Dowd. Throughout the game he was quick but never in a hurry. He scored nine first-quarter points, including a steal-and-layup, a deep three, and an acrobatic pull-up triple where he may have actually gotten fouled.

Miller is a big-time gamer and shot maker, he finished with 38 points, including 22 in the second half. When the moment got bigger, he elevated his game and tried to bring his team along.

He’s made good progress as a lead guard who can put points on the board and still run the teams offense if called to do so. He’s the leading scorer on a 15-2 team. He seems to have found that comfort level, and confidence knocking down jump shots. He can get hot knocking down 3’s. Consistency is key.

He was a spark, aggressively trying to find a way to help his team. He has a quality skill and is growing into the point guard. With that being said, he can get aggressive looking for his shot opportunities. He has good foot speed and moves, with quality handles to put up mid range jumpers, and 3’s. He plays with confidence.
