Englund will play a pivotal role for Auburn this winter as a factor in the front court. He’s shown he can make plays defending the rim, has good enough foot speed to step out and pick guys up around the arc, and even showed he can step out and hit some 3s last season. He’ll need to get stronger but he should be a guy that contributes around the rim and can knock down some open jumpers.
Highlights
Haselrig is a forward I’m really intrigued with. He has all the length and instincts to play big at the rim, makes the highlight blocks and dunks but also has nice touch with baby hooks. He has shown he can step out and hit the outside shot too. He could be a name that keeps rising into next season.
Woodard already moves extremely well for a kid his size. He’s a solid shot-blocker and deterrent at the rim, rebounds fairly well, and can get up and down the floor with ease. For Woodard, adding strength will help his game a lot. It’s something that will come with time and when he is stronger with the ball he has the makeup to do some damage in the paint. He could have a bright future ahead of him.
Highlights
Matt’s a pretty well-rounded wing who could probably shift over to guard with some more polish. He can hit the corner 3 with some efficiency and handles the ball well enough to be a secondary ballhandler with his AAU squad. He’s got some defensive versatility too, showing the skills to defend in the paint and on the perimeter. If he can sure up his handle and create more opportunities downhill, he could contribute some solid minutes at Prep next winter.
Highlights
Luok will be a name a lot of people get to know next winter. He’s a long, athletic wing who shines defensively with his ability to create turnovers on and off the ball. He’s a big-time player at the rim on both ends, especially in transition, and could really see his stock rise as his outside shot finds more consistency.
