This year's WIBCA Showcase presented tons of prospects from unsigned seniors to previously unscouted underclassmen. I took in the two-day event at Mount Si High School and came away with notes on 25 freshmen and sophomores from across the state. Here are eight of those players who play around Seattle and Tacoma.

Nettleton popped up as one of the better three-point threats at the event. The class of 2029 guard moved well without the ball, understanding spacing, reading his defender, and knowing where to go in transition. Hit a number of threes in space because of his movement and recognition of space, but also did a good job deciding when to attack his man with space behind and working for great shots.

Tahoma has a solid class of younger players coming up, and Alo is one of their younger guards whose athleticism and ability to defend already earned him some solid minutes last season. He's a quick guard who can come up and pressure the ball, and utilizes that quickness to get into gaps on the offensive end and create some motion. Already shows an understanding of how to attack with short floaters, runners, and jumpers in those areas in between defenders around the paint.

Took charge of his Tacoma 4 team as far as being an offensive creator. We saw it with Auburn during the winter season, but Fredrickson can be an extremely effective downhill player who not only can get buckets at the rim, but also just creates action and moves defenses with his ability to dart down lanes. Earned quite a few trips to the foul line as well and controlled a lot of the tempo with his play to the rim.

Isabell came on huge for Sumner this winter, and we got to see some of what made him a first-team all-league selection for the Spartans. He has the ability to go one-on-one and hit some tough shots, but also showed his ability to create a flow offensively with some smart, quick passes to move the ball up the floor, along with some smooth and deceptive playmaking.

The 6-foot-6 Sumner Spartan showed a lot of promise as a lengthy wing who can put the ball on the floor and attack. Showed good enough footwork to get to the rim on some different approaches, using pivots, step-throughs, and some nice setup moves on the perimeter. Pretty active and aggressive on the glass too, and should be a sneaky junior prospect to watch next winter.

The lefty from Hazen was a name I was not familiar with heading into the event, but he quickly made an impression just with his activity alone. He was constantly popping up around the hoop, whether it was getting downhill, working through traffic, or chasing down offensive rebounds. Stood out for his hard work across the board and racked up a fair number of deflections and pokes on defense.

One of the smaller kids out at the event, but caught my attention pretty quickly with some tough buckets going to the hoop. Showed absolutely no fear attacking bigger players at the rim and did a great job getting into the body of shot blockers, while showing some pretty good body control and ability to contort to finish shots after contact.

Rohrbacher continues to grow and show a more and more all-around skill set that has him projected as a Division I prospect. His sharp shooting was showcased with a big game from distance to close out the first day, but he also demonstrated the control and awareness to get into good spots, consistently make the right reads, and play with some more deception, which helped him get to his spots. One of the better processors of the game I saw this weekend, and owned the best pump fake as well, getting a handful of players off their feet along the perimeter.
