Ryan has great size and length. Very elite skill set for his age at the big man things.

Athlete

Plays the perimeter just as well as the paint

You can’t teach kids to be 6’9 and play like Ryan-pure baller

I’ve probably known Ryan the player for around three years. I also think I have a decent judegement on his personality. One of my few gifts that were given to me, is to be able to figure out a person very quickly and what they’re all about. No negatives to report with Ryan on this, just wanted to make assessment.

Physically-speaking, Ryan hit a small growth spurt and is up to 6’9”. He’s slowly getting taller and his playing strength and coordination are lightyears ahead of where it was a couple years ago. He’s playing like he wants it, and you can tell he wants to keep going and land with a good D1 program. His mindset is starting to become more clear and I think he has a direction set forth with his inner self.

I think Ryan is my #1 2028 prospect at this time, and a lot of that has to do with his shift in his approach to basketball and what he wants to accomplish with it. Without naming specific schools, I think schools a step below high major and slightly above mid-major (wherever that lands) should pursue Ryan. I think 6’11” is where he could ultimately finish and 6’10” is also a possibility.

He was clearly very young when I first saw him play and interacted with him, but he didn’t have his basketball future and his vision with it quite established at that age. I’m not sure many kids that age do. Most kids need to learn life stuff first and how to act and interact with people. When that started heading in the right direction for Ryan, I think he realized he’s got an opportunity for himself. Being a 6’8” 8th grader/Freshman at the time, definitely enters the equation when deciding what to do with the game of basketball. So Ryan began working on his development. It was a slow process but his body is changing quicker now, he’s leaning out, and the soft muscle has developed a leaner look.

When it comes to Ryan at the Warwick ELITE Camp, he was a new type of beast. He wasn’t there to joke with the boys and simply be around friends. he was there to work and improve. Even before the college coaches made it into town and checked the rosters.

He showed power and strength that I hadn’t seen from him. He was taking it directly at contact and was set on getting the angle at the hoop he wanted, disregarding his opponent trying to take him off his path. Some classic bully-ball, that if it continues and he keeps growing, he will have a dominant All-State season at Sioux Falls Christian with 6’10” Goodbary settling in at Drake University.

To sum up everything in a keyword phrase, whatever type of projection or what you think of Ryan Dieleman Ryan Dieleman Ryan Dieleman 6'9" | C/PF Sioux Falls Christian | 2028 State SD ‘s potential, take what you think, then increase that a couple steps up the ladder.

I think Dieleman has to be a talking point as well. You can clearly see he’s slowly becoming a better athlete and his movement and coordination is trending up. Not much else of note, but he is becoming a highly-efficient finisher and high percentage shotmaker extending beyond the middle area. Positive report here for Dieleman.

I went back and watched TEAM Warwick 15U on BallerTV, and Dieleman is playing with more coordination, toughness, and is improving as a paint-scorer. He’s still at the 6’8” mark, but hopefully he can catch a growth spurt soon.

Dieleman delivered a dominant two-way performance for Team Warwick. A force in transition, he ran the floor with purpose and finished above defenders by keeping the ball high. While his inside game was a consistent threat, Dieleman’s flashes of perimeter skill added intrigue to his versatile profile. His size, touch, and ability to impact the game at multiple levels make him a name to continue to track moving forward.

WHY?

-This BIG Charger changed the game with his length & long arms, Dieleman protected the paint/rim, altered/deflected shots, cleaned up the glass, played hard, and he hustled when running the floor, he looks to have good hands, Ryan didn’t force shots, and he took what the defense gave him, I liked his movement off the ball and his soft finishing touch
