Mcinerney turned heads at the Sophomore ID Camp as one of the most sensational players in attendance, blending elite scoring ability with athleticism that made him a matchup nightmare. The southpaw guard impressed with his ability to attack both sides of the floor, using quick first steps, sharp spins, and smart reads to create buckets for himself and open looks for teammates.
Offensively, Lincoln is a prolific shooter, hitting deep threes well beyond college range, nailing mid-range jumpers, and finishing through contact at the rim. He also demonstrated a high basketball IQ, delivering precise swing passes and kickouts in transition, helping his teammates capitalize on defensive rotations. His speed in the open court and smooth handling made him a constant threat on the break, while his savvy on-ball awareness—picking off passes and tipping balls away—added value on defense.
What truly set him apart was the combination of skill, explosiveness, and decision-making. Mcinerney not only put points on the board but also controlled the tempo, creating for others and showing off sprinter-like speed in full-court situations. With his mix of scoring, passing, and athleticism, he established himself as one of the most exciting and complete performers at the camp—a true scoring machine and top shooter to watch in the Class of 2028.
