Dowd is an undersized Big, but has a solid and physical build to handle contact and move bodies from their position. Boxes out hard and goes after the ball as it’s coming off the rim. Moves very well in all directions and is solid defending on the perimeter and will contest 3-point shooters. Offensively, he is an effective finisher at the hoop, using the glass consistently.
