Making the move to Garfield Heights has been promising for Sullivan as his defensive ability, athleticism and ability to play in transition has helped Garfield Heights. A quick point guard in the open court, Sullivan allows Garfield Heights to get some easy buckets on the fast break and he can start those opportunities himself by forcing turnovers defensively. Garfield Heights had an elite defense last year and with the addition of guys like Sullivan this season, they once again are a tough unit to score against.

Marshall Warriors were playing down a couple pieces due to injuries, but this allowed the healthy players to get plenty of minutes to shine this weekend. I was impressed with Sullivan’s athleticism on both ends of the court. A quick athlete who scored transition buckets, Sullivan consistently was beating the opposition down the court. Defensively, Sullivan forced turnovers and talked on defense when he was in help-side. I also thought Sullivan did a nice job not forcing the issue offensively, could be a new name to know in northeast Ohio this winter.
