A prospect who got on our radar by attending the Prep Hoops Freshman Showcase, Swift was as impressive as any player at the event. The lefty lead guard is shifty on the ball and extremely tough to stay in front of. Swift is at his best when he’s able to play in isolation or pick and roll sets that allow him to get downhill. Swift is a prime candidate to breakout next season with the graduation of two-time reigning Mr Basketball winner

One of the top point guards in Ohio’s 2029 class, Swift is a problem with the ball in his hands. With a strong frame and the ability to play through contact, Swift does an excellent job bumping into the defense first and setting the tone on drives that he’s the aggressor. Nobody could stop Swift from getting into the paint and the lefty did a nice job of scoring efficiently once he got to the rim. As the day went on I also saw more perimeter shooting from Swift, getting to his spots and rising up for mid-range buckets. Expect to hear a lot about Swift over the next few seasons up in the Cleveland area.
