He recently had an impressive 1st Team All District season during his junior year. I had the opportunity to evaluate Jacari’s performance at the Rice Team Camp over the weekend through several games. Offensively, Jacari is a force to be reckoned with. He uses his long strides and quickness off the bounce to slash to the basket regularly. Once he gets into driving lanes, he demonstrates his ability to convert opportunities at the basket at a high rate. Defensively, Jacari hustles in passing lanes in various defensive situations, whether it’s in the half court, during transitions, or when pressing the ball off a basket. His athleticism allows him to block shots at times and make an impact in rotations.

He effectively provided multiple stops for Hightower High School, maintaining his assignments well on the ball. His ability to play the passing lanes and generate steals in various ways further solidified his defensive capabilities. Offensively, Jacari utilizes his quick burst of speed to attack downhill, while his frame allows him to create space through physicality against defenders. His contributions make him an essential player for Hightower High School.
