Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the earlier non Division I commits in Ohio’s 2025 class, Jackson has been a key piece for Garfield Heights the past two seasons. A 3-and-D shooting guard, Jackson has added some more ball handling confidence this season and flashing more on ball ability than what I saw as a Junior. The Bulldogs are squarely in the mix for the state title in Division III and they’ll need their seniors to step up in key moments.

Garfield Heights has a loaded roster with Division I talent but Jackson is an under the radar name who deserves some love. As a 3-and-D off guard, Jackson can really shoot it off the catch and has a smooth jumper. A competitor on the defensive end as well, Jackson gets scrappy with pressure on-ball defense. Playing on one of the top teams in the state in a ton of marquee games, Jackson will have plenty of opportunities to be seen by college coaches.

Garfield Heights rolled by Benedictine, but I thought Jackson was a clear standout while the game was competitive. Jackson shoots a really good ball off the catch and had some nice transition moves as well. A specialist right now, Jackson knows his role and does it at a high level. Looks like a guy who will get a lot of small college interest from a variety of schools around the region.
