The second stop of Prep Hoops Circuit Grit region rolled into the greater Chicago area this past weekend. Producing its usual deep and talented field. Following is the 15U all tournament teams

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2125612' first='Devin' last='Cleveland'] 6-1 Chicago Kenwood (IL) One of the top players in the emerging 2027 class nationally. But more importantly played like it. Led his Mac Irvin Fire squad to an undefeated record on the weekend while playing up age a division. A smooth and effortless of a scorer who made everything look easy. Also showed potential as both a ball handler and playmaker. Saved his best performance for the penultimate contest. Put 28 points up to place a coda on an outstanding weekend.

Jack Kohnen 6-5 Slinger (WI) The wing version of [player_tooltip player_id='2125612' first='Devin' last='Cleveland']. Just made everything look so easy. Moved fluidly for his size. The best height listed I could find was 6-5. My eyes put him closer to 6-6 or 6-7. Highly skilled and versatile. I was most impressed with his passing and court vision. Had several Kevin Love-esque long outlet passes that hit players in stride. Moved well off the ball and obviously been well schooled on the finer points of game already. Along with Cleveland, the highest upside prospect in the 2027 field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2129321' first='Drew' last='Dixon'] 6-0 South Bend Adams (IN) Best ball handler I saw all weekend. Really had it on string. Allowed him to get his spots easily on the perimeter. Wasn't just empty calories though. Penetrated with purpose. Appeared to be a pass first point guard. Which was nice to see. However that did not stop him from getting buckets. Put up 28 in his last game of the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140346' first='Dakori' last='Parker'] 5-9 South Bend (IN) Do I need to make the trip to South Bend to see some good point guard the next two years? You won't see them much better than duo Parker and Dixon (see above) Parker is a mature drive and dish prospect. Has the knack that can't simply can't be taught. Waits until the last second to draw a defender before dropping the ball to an open teammate. Showed strength and grit by playing through a back injury most of the weekend.

Perry Tchiegne 6-0 Waubonsie Valley (IL) Smooth two guard had a big scoring weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2075622' first='M14' last='Hoops'] Adidas. Isn't a blur offensively. However picks his spots well and finds seams in the defense. Patient ball handler who doesn't force things. Was very impressive in his squads come from behind victory against the Wisconsin Crusaders. Finished with a game high 22 points in that contest.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2403910' first='Logan' last='Wessel'] 6-0 Chicago Mount Carmel (IL) Versatile point guard with good size for the position already. Balanced scoring and distributing well. Led Mike Glennon Elite to undefeated record on the weekend.

Tre Turner 5-6 Madison West (WI) Small but lightning quick point guard who played well for Mad City Mambas. Really stood out on Sunday. Wasn't afraid to take it in amongst the trees. Handled heavy pressure from D1 Minnesota Gold and Michigan's Inspire U well. Both of those squads featured quality backcourts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125616' first='Donavyn' last='Simmons'] 5-10 Joliet Catholic (IL) Explosive and bouncy lead guard had a good weekend playing up an age division with [program_tooltip program_id='2075515' first='Hoops' last='4 Health']. Excellent ball handler with a little bit of flair.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125575' first='Aaron' last='Raymundo'] 6-0 Vernon Hills (IL) Stocky but skilled point guard who does not pass the intial eye test. Intelligent and played well in pick and roll situations. Got his PAC Elite squad into their sets efficiently. Team was undefeated on the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2390391' first='Khevel' last='Diambuana'] 6-4 Romeoville (IL) Diambuana passes the eye test in a major way. Long lean athlete who was playing close to home in Romeoville. Played well despite playing up an age division with the Illinois T-Wolves.
