Richardson is a player to keep a close eye on this summer because his game brings energy and production every time he steps on the floor. He plays with nonstop hustle, battling for loose balls, crashing the glass and making winning plays that don’t always show in the box score. His quickness allows him to create separation off the dribble and beat defenders to spots, making him dangerous when attacking the lane. Richardson also understands how to use space, finding open areas and moving without the ball to put himself in scoring position. Add in a confident shot that can stretch defenses, and he becomes a tough matchup who can impact games in multiple ways

Richardson has stepped into a bigger role of late for 10–4 George Washington and has made the most of his opportunities, providing quality minutes off the bench. The 6’4” guard brings a strong physical presence that creates matchup problems for opposing guards, especially when he’s attacking downhill. His quick first step paired with strength allows him to get by defenders and put pressure on the defense. Once he gets inside he’s comfortable operating in the mid range, where he shows good touch and control. Richardson’s ability to come in, change pace and give consistent production adds important depth for George Washington. As the season moves along, his emergence gives the Patriots another reliable option who can impact the game without needing high usage

Richardson continues trending upward as a sophomore who brings size, activity, and shot creation. His footwork and handle open scoring windows, and his constant movement keeps defenses honest. He’s averaging two steals a game, which is also helping on the defensive end as a disruptor. His minutes will increase as he keeps producing, and he’s already showing signs of being part of their long-term core with a strong start to his second varsity season. He has to continue chipping in when he can and staying ready for the moment.

Richardson is a player that we struggled with on this list as his ceiling is extremely high, and though we felt we didn’t see enough of him this summer the flashes that we were able to see are undeniable. He’s a skilled offensive forward who scores in the mid-post, uses his size inside, and finishes over smaller defenders. His footwork and touch around the paint stand out, and when aggressive, he’s tough to stop. If given the opportunity this season, Richardson could see a significant rise in time and GW will definitely need him. He’s a player that we expect to see a huge rise with the good start to the season.

is a physical wing/forward who plays like a true offensive mismatch. When his number’s called by his coach, he delivers, either bullying smaller defenders down low or showing off that iso bag from the high post for baskets. He’s skilled, strong, and showed flashes of dominance playing up in age. Once his motor starts running without needing a motivational push, he’ll be a problem. I liked what I saw.

Jai’Dan is one of the players that I saw on multiple occasions last season take over for the GW JV team, and all I could wonder about is how he was not playing varsity yet. He is as balanced as they come with room to grow. He does a bit of everything and certainly uses his size. He excels in mid-range pull-ups, gets down hill to create a mismatch and attack it, and is one of the most skilled offensive players in the class. I truly feel as if that will be the report on him by junior or senior year. When it all comes together for him — watch out.
