When Olson’s team went up by 15+, he was a key factor, whether it was shooting trey balls or getting into the paint, and when the opponent came back and even took the lead at one point, he was important in making sure his team got it back. He continuously knocked down clutch buckets that either tied it back up or gave his team the lead back, and it was clear that his teammates trusted him in that situation as well. Late into overtime, the guys were trying to get it to Olson in case some free throws were needed to ice the game. That kind of trust isn’t just handed to anyone.
He shoots it very well and can get smoking hot from deep. Olson hoops with a high bball IQ. They have high hopes for Isaiah at Armstrong. He played on the JV team this year as a frosh and looked good.
