About Prince

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 5’9 combo guard who plays fast and under control. I can handle the ball, create my own shot, and make plays for my teammates. I’m aggressive attacking the rim, can knock down perimeter shots, and I take pride in playing tough on-ball defense. I bring energy, compete every possession, and look to impact the game on both ends.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive mindset and I hate losing. I stay focused, coachable, and always looking to improve my game. I’m confident but not selfish—I play for the team and try to lead by example with effort and attitude. I stay composed under pressure and don’t back down from challenges.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently play for Real Phenom 15U under Coach Mason.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills as a guard by running the offense and keeping my teammates involved. I understand teamwork, spacing, and making the right play. I bring effort on defense, hustle for loose balls, and stay disciplined. I’m also coachable and take feedback seriously to keep improving.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced challenges like playing against bigger guards and having to prove myself every time I step on the court. Being 5’9, I’ve had to work harder on my skill, speed, and IQ to compete. Those challenges made me tougher, more confident, and pushed me to keep getting better every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that fits my playing style and allows me to develop as a guard. I want a program with strong coaching, a competitive environment, and a team-first culture. Academics are important to me as well, and I’m looking for a school that will support me on and off the court.
