Aristode made his plans officials when he commited to the University of Arizona. Maybe New England’s most well-rounded prospect, Aristode continues to get it done at a high level on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he has the ability to guard every position on the floor with his combination of positional size, athleticism, length, and strength. Additionally, he adds significant rim protection from the wing and can really rebound the basketball. Offensively, he’s terrific when attacking the rim in transition, but also shows a high level feel for the game in the half court. He can handle the ball, score in the post, and make plays for others. His jumper continues to be a weapon, as he can get it off almost anytime at his size. Arizona continues to recruit at a high level and lands one of the country’s top two-way wings, with Aristode profiling as a future all-league performer in the Big 12.

Aristode is, in my opinion, the best NBA prospect on Expressions Elite 17u. Despite being only the third leading scorer for his squad during the Peach Jam, he showcased an extremely polished offensive skillset. He shoots the ball well from three (8-19 during Peach Jam) and can get it off quickly. He can also score from the mid-range with some nice fadeaway shots and floaters. At the hoop, Aristode glides through the air and uses his length to finish over and around taller defenders. He’s a great athlete with no physical deficiencies who should only be increasingly dominant once he puts some more weight on. The Brewster Academy senior also threw some solid no-look passes, although he was sometimes a bit too unwilling to make the simple one. Finally, Aristode plays with an edge on both ends — he defends multiple positions with intensity and attacks the offensive glass with great vigor. Aristode has a great chance at being an NBA prospect within the next couple years. He has offers from everyone you’d imagine.
