Toure’s recruitment came to an end when he announced that he will be attending Iowa State University. One of the newest prospects in New England, by way of France, Toure is an elite, high motor athlete that makes high level plays on both ends of the floor. A dynamic presence in the open floor, few prospects can match his combination of size, length, speed, and athleticism. He does a great job of finishing around the rim, showing quick burst, and a lightning first step. He sees the floor well and continues to impress as a playmaker off the bounce. Defensively, he’s elite at the point of attack, generating a high number of steals and deflections. He has the potential to be a defensive stopper at the next level and the ability to shut down all three perimeter spots. Iowa State came into New England and landed a prospect that should only continue to get better at the next level, with Toure possessing the tools to be an elite two-way guard in the Big 12.
