A big combo guard with elite shot creation ability, Zimmerman is a next level athlete that can play on or off the ball. He’s a crafty ball handler, bouncy rim finisher, and tough shot maker that plays with an edge at all times. He plays with a great combination of finesse and power, doesn’t back down from a challenge, and is known to make highlight reel plays on both ends of the floor. He has all the tools to be an elite wing defender and shows real rim protection ability coming from the help side. He’s a quality late pickup for Quinnipiac and the type of prospect who should make an immediate impact in the MAAC.

Zimmerman has committed to Quinnipiac University. He is a dynamic inside and out scorer known for his versatility on the court. He excels at finishing plays around the rim, showcasing his athleticism and agility. Zimmerman’s ability to stretch defenses with his shooting range makes him a tough matchup for opponents. His combination of physical strength and finesse allows him to dominate in various aspects of the game.

Previous Rank: 82 (+44) Zimmerman, who recently received an offer from Indiana State, was one of the highest risers in this rankings update. A big guard that excels on both ends of the floor, Zimmerman has a crafty finishing package around the rim, is a terrific off ball cutter, and shoots it at a high clip from behind the arc in catch and shoot situations. He’s comfortable handling the ball and does a good job of creating paint touches off his drives. Defensively, his combination of size and strength allows him to guard up a position, while his lateral mobility and quickness allows him to defend smaller quick guards. He’s undoubtedly one of the top unsigned seniors still on the board in New England and is a prospect that clearly has his best days of basketball still ahead of him.

The New York native looks right at home in a Cushing Academy team that features a number of division one prospects. An explosive driver, Zimmerman has expanded his offense in recent months and looks like he’s improved as a shooter. With good positional size and playmaking ability it will be interesting to see where his recruitment ultimately ends up in the coming months.
