Dotson made his impact felt all season as a true point guard who brings intensity on both ends. He set the tone defensively with his toughness and quickness, pressuring the ball and disrupting opposing guards. Offensively he showed he can score at all three levels, using his handle to create space and get wherever he wants on the floor. His speed in the open court made him a constant threat, while his decision making kept the offense flowing. With his complete skill set and competitive edge, Dotson is ready to continue to show this summer that he’s a floor general who can take over games when needed

was easily the Patriots’ most effective hooper, producing an impressive 20 points on 70% from the field and 50% from downtown. His shot selection is intentional with an emphasis on attacking the paint. At 6’4, Dotson can not only blow past defenders, but his footwork makes it easy for him to get off any look he wants. Adding an additional 5 rebounds to this performance, Dotson has showcased what he’s done well all season long: lock his eyes on the ball and fight for extra boards. The junior will come back even stronger next season, as he’s already raised plenty of eyebrows thus far in his high school career.

Dotson delivered a steady and impactful performance, finishing with 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in Round 1. He scored within the flow of the offense, picking his spots and making timely plays when his team needed a lift. Whether it was attacking the rim or knocking down open looks, he stayed aggressive without forcing the action. He completed on the glass while keeping his head up looking to make the extra pass. Dotson’s balance of scoring and effort makes him a reliable option, and if he maintains that confidence and poise, he’ll continue to be a key piece moving forward

is one of George Washington’s key pieces to the puzzle, adding size, strength, and relentlessness to the game throughout all four quarters. Averaging a productive 15/5/3 split, Dotson has been as consistent as any coach could ask for. Being a part of an 8-2 squad means the bar is always being raised, and the #5-ranked guard in 2027 is largely a part of why that bar has been raised. Dotson’s ability to attack the rim and force contact is unparalleled, and his improvement over the last year and a half of his high school career will be special.

I am excited to get eyes on Jordan Jordan Jones | 2026 CO this week as I get out to games, but what we’ve been seeing on film in the Patriots’ two blowout wins has been a ton of Jordan Jordan Jones | 2026 CO Dotson doing what he wants. Dotson is a skilled combo guard who is electric with the ball in his hands. He takes care of the ball, makes the right plays, and plays unselfishly, but he’s also been attacking and getting to his spots. He’s averaging 18.5, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists a game to begin the season, and what’s standing out right now is the efficiency. He’s not missing. He knocked down 2 3-pointers in their last game; he’s reading the court well and getting to his spots while attacking. An aggressive Dotson makes the team dangerous, and he’s in a groove right now. He’s an X-factor to keep an eye on that I expected to have a big season. Well, he’s doing just that.

Jordan Jordan Jones | 2026 CO is a player that we struggle with. Skill-wise, there may not be a player as smooth of a scorer as Jordan Jordan Jones | 2026 CO is, as he’s a three-level bucket-getter that can score with the best of them. We want to see it consistently done. He has an extended clip on his jumper, hits the midrange, and also gets to the rim with ease. He also battles defensively and doesn’t make it easy for opposing guards. We want him to come out to the event and have a solid day, as we feel it could get him back to where he once was, as we feel that he’s a competitor that will head into the season with a chip on his shoulder.

Dotson was a guard that we were excited to watch heading into the event, as the only underclassman for a Senior-heavy GW team, and he did not disappoint. He competed on both ends of the floor, turning offense to defense, and got out in transition for easy finishes. Offensively, he plays at his own pace as a player who excels in iso situations, attacks mismatches, and uses his handle to free himself up. He was also consistently lining up the 3-ball and knocking them down. He plays under control, gets downhill and finishes, and spaces the floor, and that versatility is why he is one of the best players in the class. Solid outing for him.

Among the most consistent perimeter shooters at this event, Dotson contributed a steady dose of points behind the arc. Although at his best off the catch, he found ways to score through contests when necessary, bringing great decisionmaking at this stage in his career. Far from just a shooter, his strong frame allows him to attack deep into the paint, drawing in the defense for kickouts or physical finishes at the rim.

Dotson was particularly impressive off the bat due to his scoring efficiency paired with the strong frame to build on prior success. Improving as a point of attack defender, the guard is set to succeed on both ends for a George Washington group bursting at the seams with perimeter talent. Already proving he can hit contested shot attempts along the perimeter, Dotson has found repeated success as a kick out option. If needed to attack the rim, his strength has improved, allowing him to draw even more fouls per possession.

Dotson will be a crucial complementary shotmaker for George Washington, bringing highly efficient scoring from all three levels. Bringing notably soft touch from off the dribble attempts, such as pull-ups or floaters, there is little the opposing defense can do once he gains a sliver of space. Still knockdown off the catch, he appears set as one of the premier floor spacers in his class, and possibly the state.
