Gamble has had a strong end to his spring with back-to-back impressive May weekend performances with his Nova-Germany squad. A point guard with good pace, tough and a capable shot-maker from the mid-range, Gamble has a lot of traits that small college coaches look for. I expect his recruitment to take a spike in the month of June as college team camps and Midwest Live will be great opportunities for him to be seen by the right small college coaches.

Kaiser has been a fundamental piece to Team Wildcat HGSL’s success this spring. Capable of playing on or off the ball, Kaiser is one of the best processors and quick decision makers in the state. Capable of knocking down a perimeter shot as well, shooting 42% from 3-point range as a Junior. Kaiser also led the GCL-Co Ed in assists at 4.0 per game. Another strong option for small college programs, I really like the ball movement that happens when Kaiser is on the floor.

Another guard who has boosted his stock as a leader for his TNBA ‘ last=”]-Select squad, Zapolnik had a huge weekend in Fort Wayne at the Run N Slam. Zapolnik is set to make a big impact for Saint Ignatius as a senior with his quickness, ability to get into the lane and his defensive ability. Small college programs should be interested in Zapolnik, according to his twitter he has a 3.7 GPA for high academic programs.
Bruce has been a standout on the Prep Hoops Circuit and continues to impact winning when he plays. Leading Next Level AAU to a 4-0 weekend at the Havoc In The Heartland, Bruce is also coming off a state championship with Lutheran East where he scored nine points in the state title game. I like Bruce’s perimeter shooting ability, leadership and toughness that he brings at the guard position. Another great target for small school programs.
DeBrosse has taken a clear leap this spring and is setting himself up for a breakout senior season in the GMC, one of the toughest conferences in the state. With his confidence shooting it from the outside, he’s had some big time spring scoring outbursts at different grassroots events across the Midwest this spring. The lefty has a knack for hitting highly contested shots and connected on 44 3-pointers which was tied for fourth in the GMC last year. DeBrosse also has a nose for the basketball on the defensive end as he led the GMC in steals at 2.3 a game last year. After scoring 9.3 PPG as a Junior, I expect him near the 15-17 PPG range this upcoming season with the same efficiency from the floor.
