Prep Hoops Spring Kick-Off Stock Risers Day 2 (16U)
Day 2 of the Prep Hoops Spring Kick-off was a full time of basketball with every team playing two games. In the 16U division their were some impressive performances that caught the key of myself and other spectators. Here are my day 2 Stock Risers.
Kenny Foster 6’4 (Smoky Hill, Colorado Hawks) is a really good looking prospect who does so many things well. In a win versus the Colorado Premier he shot the ball very well from three and even hit a pull-up three. Foster has a big body and bullies opposing guards going to the rim. The most impressive thing he did was his play making abilities. Foster made he teammates and better and he an unselfish player.
Pierce Holley 6’2 (Lakewood, B@B Basketball Academy) was really impress with how developed his game is as a 2019 kid. He was able to score from all three levels and muscled his way to the rim and finished well. Holley also has a very high basketball IQ and and the right play all day.
Levi Braun 6’2 (Topeka Hayden, SSA Elite) had a huge first half scoring the ball and ended with over 20 points in a close with over a good Colorado Chaos team. Braun did most of his damage from the perimeter and was very good shooting the ball off of screens.
Jaelen House 6’2 (Shadow Mountain, LV Prospects) has a very good opening game against the number one team in Colorado the Colorado Hawks. House shot the ball well from deep and also was able to get to the rim to score and create for his teammates. He is one of the top guards in the state of Arizona.
Assane Diouf 7’0 (Denver East, Colorado Hawks) is an absolute animal on the defensive side of the ball. He clogs up the lane and blocks a lot of shots from the weak side. Diouf is still extremely raw on the offensive end but you can tell that he is coordinated and has decent hands. He is going to be one of the most sought out after big men in the class of 2019.
