Braddock Kjellesvig 6’5 2025 Forward of Christopher HS, Oakland Soldiers 15u EYBL
A good size forward at the 15u level. He was active and very effective playing in and around the post area. He moves well without the ball, hustling up court, and working his way across the lane. He’s a big target with good footwork, a drop step, and will finish. He has the body to be physical going after rebounds. He’s not exclusively a post player. He showed us he could handle, and pass in transition, he also went coast to coast. He’s on the Wright’s watch List.
Ely Willis 6’3 2025 SG of Whitney HS, YBA Elite 15u.
He’s a player that can score in different ways, he takes it hard, and strong to the basket on drives, able to handle contact, and get to the free throw line. He’ll shoot transition 3’s, take it strong to the basket, and he shoots open jumper on the perimeter. He didn’t post up but did show he can score inside. He’ll rebound, and pass it up in transition.
Avery Sanchez Avery Sanchez 6'2" | PG Pitman | 2025 State CA-N 6’2 2025 SG, PG of Pitman HS, Lakeshow 15 Boyd.
This was our first look Sanchez, the wiry kid from Turlock. He has a quick release, and can knock down 3’s from all the usual spots, the corner on the catch and shoot, in rhythm 3’s in transition from the top and wings, plus he dropped a couple of one dribble step backs. He uses his quickness, and quality handles to get to the basket from different areas.
Dieume Blakely 5’10 2025 Guard of Napa Christian HS, Oakland Soldiers 15u EYBL
Blakely was impressive with the kind of energy and effort he brought to the court. He has quick hands for steals, good foot speed, and lateral movement to hound defenders in open court. He sprints to fill lanes for transition lay-ups. He has the tools to be a quality defender. We’ll keep an eye on his progression.
Mark Lavrenov 6’7 2025 W/F of Rocklin HS, YBA Elite 15u. (Featured)
We saw Lavrenov once early in the Spring working the post, and going after rebounds, he defended well too. At this event he showed more of his wing skills, having the freedom to handle, pass, and put up shots on the perimeter. He’s long and has some versatility to his game. He handled in transition passing it up. He works well from the high post, and looks to take his mid-range and 3-point shots if he’s open. He’s on the thin side, but he’s long and can score inside with this 15u group. He’s on the Watch List.
Semaj Clark 5’9 2025 PG of Wilcox HS, Silicon Valley Soldiers Elite 15U.
Clark is a quick point guard with superb ball handling skills. He’s still learning the point guard position, he has the tools. He’s a pass first type with good vision, though he has the shiftiness and the ability to go get his own shot off the dribble. He can readily get into the paint for floaters, paint jumpers, dump offs, or kick it out to open shooters. We’ll see more of him.
Kasen Krueger Kasen Krueger 6'0" | CG Amador valley | 2025 State CA-N 6’0 2025 PG of Lakeshow 16 Shaughnessy
Kreuger a quality 3pt shooter, he continues to learn and sharpen his point guard skills. He’s more confident in his decision making, ball handling and passing on the court. He’s showing the patience up top, and is more vocal running the team in half-court sets. He had a couple of nice pull-up jumpers, and drives to the basket.
