Krueger will be taking his guard skills over to Amador Valley this season. He’s an high IQ guard that can play both guard positions. He’s one of the better 3pt shot makers when he gets it going. He has good ball handling skills and vision, he’s quite effective after driving into the paint, playing off two feet, planting, and keeping bigs off balance.

Kruger did an excellent job this weekend leading his team against quality competition. He showed himself to be a quality point guard that can be productive with the ball in his hands. He’s a heady player, a willing facilitator that looks to involve others while being a threat to get his own points. He found bigs cutting, passed up to shooters, and found finishers. He’s playing with confidence.

Kruegers been consistent this Spring, and is heading into the Summer on an upward path. He’s a solid player who does things that keeps a team in the game. He makes good decisions with the ball, he’s a ball mover who’ll make the extra pass. He plays with good body control and has an ability to get his shot off or draw fouls on the drive against shot blockers. He can knock down 3’s, and run an offense.

He’s been playing good basketball for a while now, picking up a DI offer along the way. He’s more settled in his second year as a starter on the Varsity. He’s worked from both guard positions. He handles well with good passing and decision making. He’s an excellent 3pt shooter starting to get the consistency needed.
