Have to give a lot of credit where credit is due, Ben Davis got back to the state championship when most did not think they could. A lot of that has to do with the experienced leadership and senior guard

brought that. He is the Giants’ third leading scorer with 8.5 points and overall brings a lot of IQ on the floor. He can play any spot 1-3 on the perimeter and absolutely can guard any of them as well. It’s going to be tough for Ben Davis to repeat, but White can help them do so.

White was a key piece of Ben Davis’ 33-0 state championship team as a junior and will look to step into a further expanded role as a senior. He can play any spot 1-3 on the perimeter and absolutely can guard any of them as well. The 6’3″ wing is physical, very athletic, and an excellent driver going right. Has an offer from Culver-Stockton, Dillard, and a handful of other small college opportunities.

As I said on Twitter during the event on Saturday morning, Mark White is truly a two-way menace on the perimeter. The 6’3″ guard is strong and athletic off of the dribble that he is nearly impossible to stop when attacking closeouts and getting downhill to the rim. He is obviously very effective in transition as well. Then, on the defensive end, he has active hands and plays so hard that he is constantly taking the ball from his man.

In terms of athleticism and physical tools, White is as good as they come in the Class of 2024. He is a beast in transition and when getting downhill to the rim in the half court. The 6’3″ guard is aggressive attacking the basket, elevates to finish, and plays through contact at the end of his drives. He was a big part of Ben Davis’ blowout victory against Chesterton on Thursday and is settling into an expanded role for the defending state champions. High academic prospect as well!

An excellent athlete that is coming off of a 33-0 state championship with Ben Davis, this 6’3″ wing has played well on 3SGB circuit for Indiana Ice 3SGB 2024. White is really tough to stop in transition, attacks off of the dribble from the wings, and can make an impact on the defensive end of the floor as well. He should attract some eyes of college coaches this weekend in Fort Wayne.
