Quincy Townsend Quincy Townsend 6'2" | CG Mountain View | 2024 State OR , Oregon Prospects 2024 (2024 Mountain View)
Townsend is a heady lead guard who took what the defense gave him. In one game, he was left open on the outside so he drained threes. In another game, he aggressively attacked the basket to create for himself and for others. Having led 6A in free throw shooting this past season, he was practically money from the line.
Pearson Carmichael Pearson Carmichael 6'6" | SF Summit | 2024 State #270 Nation OR , Oregon Prospects 2024 (2024 Summit)
Carmichael was playing out of position a lot as he’s a natural wing, one that oozes potential as he’s long and lanky at 6-foot-5. He shot it well from the perimeter but also tried to mix things up by taking it to the basket. When he adds strength, he will have more successful results finishing.
Collin Moore, Oregon Prospects 2024 (2024 Summit)
Moore is a high-energy, high-motor guy that seemed to go all-out every time on the court. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard is a well-built athlete and he used that to his advantage on drives to the basket.
Charles Crowell, Oregon Prospects 2024 (2024 Summit)
Yet another young Summit talent, Crowell was more of a traditional post player. He set up shop down low, showed some basic moves on the block, and played with toughness and physicality.
Max Juhala Max Juhala 6'5" | SF West Linn | 2024 State OR , Oregon Prospects 2024 (2024 West Linn)
Juhala isn’t as tall as his older brother Joe, but he’s still got decent size for a combo guard at 6-foot-3. The lefty showed a nice touch from three in the one game we were watching him closely and he took good care of the ball.
Jacey Canalin Jacey Canalin 5'7" | PG Wells | 2024 State OR , DENY Basketball 2024 (2024 Wells)
Canalin, as we saw with Wells this past season, was extremely shifty with the basketball and looked more to run the offense and facilitate than score himself. He was active on the defensive end and was able to help create turnovers that led to transition hoops.
AJ Noland, DENY Basketball 2024 (2024 Tualatin)
Noland was a bucket in the game we watched of DENY 2024. The combo guard was scoring at all three levels and honestly made it look easy. We could easily see him playing a rotation role on varsity next season.
Miguel Taylor, Oregon Prospects 16U Black (2024 Benson)
Playing with a team consisting mostly of Idaho-based players, Taylor will be transferring to Benson for his sophomore season. He’s long and lanky at 6-foot-6 and had a nice all-around game in the limited action that we saw.
