Delani Hammonds Delani Hammonds 6'0" | CG Ardrey Kell | 2024 State NC | 5’11 Point Guard | Team Synergy 2023
Hammonds got better as the event went on for Team Synergy 2023. He’s a member of the 2024 class playing up an age division at 16U. He produced 14.8 ppg at the lead guard spot for his squad as they went 3-1 on the weekend, finishing Big Shots Nationals with 21 points against the Kernersville Bulls. His best basketball is ahead of him as he continues to show his growth as a scorer and playmaker.
Maddox Watson Maddox Watson 6'4" | SF Southlake Christian | 2024 State NC | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Team Hope Laney 2024
Watson had a magical run in the 15U Orange Division as Team Hope Laney took home the crown at Big Shots Nationals. He took home the MVP award with 10 points in the championship game and averaged 17.3 ppg on the weekend as he’s put himself on the radar following his performance. He’s got the ability to score off the bounce, make plays for others and is quite the underrated defender.
Cameron McKinney Cameron McKinney 6'4" | PF Parkwood | 2024 State NC | 6’5 Forward | Team Hope Laney 2024
McKinney was another prospect that played a pivotal role in Team Hope Laney’s run to the 16U Orange crown. He produced 11.0 ppg on the weekend including 21 points to open the event for his squad. He’s a long, wiry prospect that isn’t afraid to do the little things to make an impact on the floor. He’ll be one to track at Parkwood High.
Madden Collins Madden Collins 6'3" | SG Christ School | 2025 State NC | 5’8 Point Guard | PCH Nightrydas
Collins is a crafty floor general with the PCH Nightrydas with a bright future ahead of him. He’s not the biggest but he uses his quickness and shooting to make an impact with the ball in his hands. He produced 10.3 ppg with his squad while distributing and defending with a ton of presence. He’s one to keep an eye on at Irmo High in South Carolina.
Randall King Randall King 6'2" | CG Northern Nash | 2024 State NC | 6’1 Guard | Team DBGH
King was electric this past weekend with Team DBGH, averaging 18.5 ppg at Big Shots Nationals. He put together two 30-point efforts, showing his growth as more than just a downhill threat, utilizing his jumpshot and defense to find points as well. He’s an emerging name to know in the state with his strength and athleticism.
Ashton Elliott Ashton Elliott 5'10" | PG Northwood | 2024 State NC | 5’8 Guard | Rising Pro Training Red
Elliott continues to show his growth as a playmaker and scorer in the backcourt. He put up 12.3 ppg on the weekend including 24 points to open the event. He’s a prospect that applies pressure on defense fullcourt as a defender and forces turnovers for easy points as well. As he learns to make those around him better, look for his stock to grow.
Demondre Haymon Demondre Haymon 6'8" | PF Northern Nash | 2024 State NC | 6’7 Forward/Center | Team DBGH
Haymon has shown a ton of improvement as a presence on both ends of the floor. He had a number of finishes at the rim where he finished with authority. He’s starting to find his potential as a threat rim-to-rim. As he develops his all-around game and improves his conditioning, look for his name to grow in the 2024 class.
