No. 1 – Jalen Duren Jalen Duren 6'9" | PF Montverde Academy | 2022 FL Ι 6-9 Ι Montverde Academy
I had a chance to see Duren when he was a freshman at Peach Jam and he was special then. Villanova was there watching including head coach Jay Wright, it has since offered as well as many other Division I programs like Georgetown, UCLA, Michigan, Alabama, Auburn and more. The physical defender and punishing offensive finisher will have his pick of the litter when he graduates. He joined Montverde from Pennsylvania Roman Catholic and slides in as a bonafide two-way player for the national powerhouse.
No. 2 – Jaden Bradley Jaden Bradley 6'2" | PG IMG Academy | 2022 State #15 Nation FL Ι 6-3 Ι IMG Academy
One of the top point guards in the entire country made the move down from North Carolina Cannon School to IMG this summer. Bradley holds offers North Carolina, UCLA, Notre Dame, Louisville, FSU, Kansas, Xavier and many more Division I schools have extended offers. Bradley is a quick, confident and versatile guard who sees the floor really well and can shoot it at a high clip. IMG has the real deal in Bradley as he’ll provide a ton of playmaking ability out in front.
No. 3 – Dariq Whitehead Dariq Whitehead 6'5" | SF Montverde Academy | 2022 State #5 Nation FL Ι 6-6 Ι Montverde Academy
One of the most athletic guards you’ll find has been a member of the Montverde National squad since his 8th grade year. Whitehead is a long body who is still hitting his stride which is a scary sentiment. He’s packed with speed, finishing ability, hops and overall athleticness. With offers from Oregon, FSU, UF, Texas, Georgia, LSU and more, there is no reason why Whitehead shouldn’t have his biggest season to date as a junior.
No. 4 – Eric Dailey Jr. Eric Dailey Jr. 6'7" | CG IMG Academy | 2023 #54 Nation FL Ι 6-8 Ι IMG Academy
Since last summer Eric Dailey Jr. Eric Dailey Jr. 6'7" | CG IMG Academy | 2023 #54 Nation FL has been a hot commodity. The IMG guard/wing is an attacking player who is filled with a high IQ and simply a Euro-type game. He’s very athletic, can shoot it well and has very good court awareness. Alabama, TCU, Texas A&M, UF, Michigan, Miami and more have offered. On a deep and lengthy IMG bunch, Dailey Jr. should be leaned upon plenty this fall.
No. 5 – Jarace Walker Jarace Walker 6'8" | CG IMG Academy | 2022 State #12 Nation FL Ι 6-6 Ι IMG Academy
Anyone that has watched Walker in the past has been stunned that he’s in the 2022 class. He’s physically gifted and a very mature ballhandler and leader. Walker has offers out from Notre Dame, Michigan, UF, Syracuse and more. He can handle the rock, attack the rim, play hard-nosed defense and simply get the job done as a two-way player. Walker will continue to be a key piece for IMG.
No. 6 – Justice Williams Justice Williams 6'3" | PG Montverde Academy | 2022 FL Ι 6-3 Ι Montverde Academy
Coming down to Montverde alongside Duren, there is a Philly feel with Williams joining the program as well. LSU, Indiana, Marquette, Villanova, Georgetown, Miami, Virginia Tech and more have offered. A true point guard, Williams thrives with the ball in his hands and he is always looking to get everyone out on the break. He will fit in very nicely to what Montverde does.
No. 7 – Jalen Hood-Schifino Jalen Hood-Schifino 6'4" | PG Montverde Academy | 2022 State #27 Nation FL Ι 6-5 Ι Montverde Academy
Hood-Schifino is another dynamic guard that will suit up at Montverde. A special and versatile guard, he arrived from North Carolina Combine Academy and will be a super reliable asset for his new squad. Recently de-committed from Pittsburgh, the junior is a true two-way guard with vision, always playing with purpose, energy and using his athleticism to his advantage. UF, Wake Forest, Indiana, Clemson, Virginia Tech and more represent his offers. Hood-Schifino is as steady as they come.
No. 8 – Fanbo Zeng Ι 6-9 Ι Windermere Prep
Being tall and lengthy has its advantages and Zeng takes it to a new level at Windermere Prep. A core shot blocker, gifted rebounder, he has expanded his offensive game as he loves to get out on the break on his own or off inside feeds. Zeng knows he’s bigger than most players and makes things happen because of it. UF, Virginia Tech, FGCU, Northwestern and more have offered. He’s only going to add more value when he gets stronger.
No. 9 – Gregg Glenn Gregg Glenn 6'7" | PF Calvary Christian (FL) | 2022 State #161 Nation FL Ι 6-6 Ι Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian
Glenn is a big body who can run the point as well as back in and get to work inside and from the mid-range. He is a determined athlete who is part of a highly talented Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Christian group. He has offers from LSU, Pittsburgh, Maryland, UF, FSU and more. Expect another rock-solid season from Glenn.
No. 10 – Malik Reneau Malik Reneau 6'7" | PF Montverde Academy | 2022 State #33 Nation FL Ι 6-7 Ι Montverde Academy
Moving inside the state of Florida from Mater Academy to Montverde, Reneau started drawing a lot of attention right after a strong game at the City of Palms Classic last December. He earned offers from Miami, Oklahoma State and FIU then and has since reeled in LSU and FSU. Plenty more will come for the inside bruiser. Reneau is strong, long and very powerful down low on both ends of the floor.
