Unsigned 2027 Central PA Guards 2 Watch

Dolimpio is one of the top unsigned guard prospects in the state and provides valuable scoring depth for any team he suits up for. He is a viable plug-and-play option in a multi-guard lineup, bringing the versatility to contribute in different backcourt roles. Dolimpio is a consistent threat from beyond the arc and can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting. He was also a key piece of Central Dauphin's run to the PIAA 6A state title, showcasing his ability to contribute to a championship-caliber team.     Barnes shot-making ability is evident throughout his game, as the southpaw presents a scoring threat from anywhere on the floor when he has the ball in his hands. He does a nice job creating offense off the dribble and finding ways to get to his spots. Barnes also displays good court vision and a willingness to involve his teammates, showcasing his ability to balance scoring with playmaking. A member of the PIAA 6A First Team All-State, he will look to build on that recognition during the upcoming season. Hemmings brings good size to the lead guard spot and has a natural scoring mentality. He put together a productive June, which helped him garner several Division II offers. I like his ability to create offense off the dribble and use his size to rise over smaller defenders and convert tough looks. Hemmings has the scoring tools and positional size to warrant continued attention from both Division two and Division one programs. He is also a prospect who could work his way into the conversation for All-State honors with a strong season.     Steele is a maestro with the ball in his hands, showing the ability to score at all three levels or create opportunities for his teammates. He excels in transition, where he can push the pace and finish around the rim on the fast break. A member of the First Team All-State 3A squad, Steele will look to build on that recognition during his final high school campaign while pursuing a second consecutive PIAA 3A title. His playmaking ability and offensive versatility should make him a priority recruit for in-state Division II programs, while also putting him on the radar of low-major Division I schools.     Brown put together a decorated high school career at Central York, establishing himself as one of the most prolific scorers in school history. Now taking a postgraduate year at Mercersburg Academy, he should make an immediate impact in the MAPL with his ability to consistently put points on the board. Brown possesses an ultra-quick first step that allows him to blow by defenders and create scoring opportunities off the dribble. His scoring instincts and ability to generate offense should make him a priority recruit for Division II programs throughout the Atlantic and East regions.     Hancock is one of the more prolific shooters in the state, with the ability to get scorching hot from beyond the arc and quickly change the momentum of a game. He also shows versatility as a scorer, utilizing his in-between game to create opportunities when defenders take away the perimeter. Having competed against some of the top talent in the country in the ISL, Hancock should be well-equipped for the transition to the MAPL. His shooting ability and experience against high-level competition make him an intriguing Division two prospect who should also draw interest from low-major programs.
