It is always great to see the PH Expo come to Utah, because you end up getting a mixture of players from all over the state who make their way to one location, and you get to see them at their best against other talented players. Through the four hours that we were there, these were the best players that I saw in the gym.

Copper might be one of the most overlooked players at his position, and he is good. Young was doing it all, and he started off dominating in 3v3. He doesn't need a screen to shake defenders, but when he did, he used different speeds to get loose. He has a much improved jumper, and he is solid in the midrange. Young was also playing defense and getting above the rim.

Lazarus is an absolute stud. He dominated from start to finish, and the thing that impressed me the most about him was that he was playing elite defense and making impressive passes as he found open players all over the floor. He was hitting open jumpers, and he was showing an inside presence. One of his best plays was when he pinned someone on the glass. He is a player that i think could play at the highest level, and he has room to develop even more.

Barney was strong inside, and I liked that he was sticking to what he does best, and that is defend, rebound, and run the floor. Barney was active inside and he had more dunks than anyone else and the way that he can rise up vertically was just consistent and impressive. I like him at the next level as a 4 who can play the 4 because he can rebound and run. Best 4 man in the building this weekend.

I would say, hands down Manuia was the most fun player to watch. He plays with a lot of energy. He was the most creative, and he was a wizard on the open floor. He made some elite passes, and the best one was a no-look pass that led to a wide-open layup. Defensively, he was a dog!. Manuia had 4 blocks in a row against a much taller player, and his final block led to a leakout and an easy bucket. This kid is an absolute stock riser.

This kid is off the radar, but this kid was impressive!. Anderson is a lead guard, but he was able to be impactful off the ball. There were times when he was the tallest player on his team, and he was very resourceful and versatile in his play. He is a next-level player who will give you high energy on both ends of the floor, not just on offense. He does not dance around with the ball and shoot contested shots; he is efficient, and he gets right to it.
