Compton was the best shooter in the gym in my opinion! He has the ability to get his 3-ball off with his handle and footwork to create separation, or knock it down off a kick-out from under the basket. He was making 3s all day long! The kid has insane deep range and can shoot consistently from deep. He was a fun player to watch from beyond the arc.

Compton Anderson Compton Anderson 6'3" | PG/SG Union | 2027 UT from Union is a player who really caught my eye at the Expo. His burst of speed really stood out to me and he was constantly getting downhill and putting pressure on the defense. He has a deep three-ball in his bag and can knock down shots from well beyond the arc. I also liked his finishing moves, footwork and handle, especially for a 6’3 guard with his length. Compton is a player in the 2027 class that I don’t think enough people know about yet, but they need to know who he is. He was handing out buckets throughout the entire day and showed he can score in multiple ways. I really liked what I saw from him and think he is a player people should be keeping an eye on.

This kid is off the radar, but this kid was impressive!. Anderson is a lead guard, but he was able to be impactful off the ball. There were times when he was the tallest player on his team, and he was very resourceful and versatile in his play. He is a next-level player who will give you high energy on both ends of the floor, not just on offense. He does not dance around with the ball and shoot contested shots; he is efficient, and he gets right to it.

Compton found his home behind the 3-point line, showing the confidence to knock down shots when opportunities came his way. As a senior coming from a smaller school, he looked completely comfortable stepping onto the floor with bigger and faster players, fitting into the pace of play effortlessly. His ball control and movement were also impressive, allowing him to create space, stay composed under pressure, and find ways to contribute beyond his shooting.
