Burris has added a little more wiggle to his game and he was showcasing some of that. He has a mixture of head down and one move attacks to a few jabs and change of speed and levels moves that help him get to some good mid-range spots to score. He has active hands and runs the floor well without the ball and with the ball he stays in a lane and uses the players that are running with him wisely. Burris should be a good player for Hillcrest this coming season.

Burris is a great on-ball defender. He repeatedly bothered some of the best scorers in the gym. While he clamps on one end, he also is a stud on the other. Anthony is a great iso scorer, spot-up shooter, and playmaker. One play where he broke-down his defender with a hesitation dribble into a crossover and drilled a 3 right over the top of him stuck out amongst many other great plays from him. I’ll have to make it out to a game of his this season to see more. Fun player to watch and a winner.

Burris looked impressive this past weekend. Although he began the 3v3 competition somewhat slowly, he quickly found his rhythm. From the second game onwards, his explosive first step and ability to reach the lane became evident, and he effectively utilized his midrange floater. Burris is poised to be a standout player for Hillcrest in the upcoming season, showcasing versatility in his scoring options. Defensively, his length and active hands make him a potential ball-disrupting force.

Burris is just getting started and i expect him to raise his level of play. Burris can get down hill and his shooting is solid but look for Burris to hit 10-15 more three’s this coming season.

Burris has been great over at Draper APA. He has size and he has that burst out of his first step. Look for him to be too tough to stop when region play begins. Burris is a stock riser.

Burris is an athletic play maker that can slash to the rim. Even woth him being athletic and the ability to really work with the ball in his hands he keeps his vision up finding players up the floor. His passing is on the money and you can see that he is playing the rigt way. Clearing rebounds, bringing the ball up the floor and just being a ball mover.

Burris has some high level potential, you can see it when he is slashing to the rim. Burris has that shifty left to right cross down and his wingspan makes that cross even tougher. When he does get downhill he makes the right moves and uses that athletic ability, as he gets stronger he will be able to absorb contact and not get displaced. He is still young so the upside is very noticeable. He has an explosive first step. Excited to watch him and to see him this season.

Burris is a guard with length on a team witha ton of guards but he is a youngster that can find minutes with the skills and length he has. He has grown a bit so keep an eye onhim as he is a player we are excited to see this Fall.
