In PH Utah Expo Preview 5 Players Excited to Watch – Prep Hoops, Hector mentioned this kid has the opportunity to become a standout talent. He did exactly that. The best big on the court Saturday in my eyes, he’s quick and super lengthy. He showed an amazing touch both around the basket and from deep. His teammates were looking for him all day, and there wasn’t much the opposing team could do to slow him. Plus, he was getting stops on the other end.

Legit length and maybe a plus 2 on his wingspan. He was crashing the boards when he did not get an attempt, and he was just active all over the floor. He was not pouting about his touches; he was just out there being active, and he had a few thunderous drop-step dunks. It is safe to say that he will be blowing up this summer.

Barney is a raw talent that has interior skill set and he is just getting started. Look for this spring to be a breakout time for him to improve his skills and get to be a 10 PPG type of a player. With his size and his mobility he could easily pick up a few points a quarter just hanging out by the rim. He is blooming slowly but he is starting to bloom.

Raw talent. Would love to see him run with a good AAU team this spring and summer because he has potential and intangibles that you cant teach. Solid in the perimeter with a bit of ball handling. He crashes the boards hard and he could be a defender that can switch and defend multiple positions.
