Recently, I posted an article featuring the "Best Point Guards". Utah has always produced great point guards. You have players like:

Junior County: UCONN

JJ Mandaquit: ARIZONA

Jordan Barnes: UTAH VALLEY

Ace Reiser: UTAH STATE

Frank Jackson: DUKE

Dallin Hall: UTAH STATE

Rylan Jones: SAMFORD

The list goes on, and so does ours. Here is a list of ELITE point guards to watch this season.

Hatton plays with some high-level intensity. Hatton averaged 15.8 PPG, 5.12 RPG, and 4.52 APG. Those numbers are elite in themselves. His defense is something you can't ignore because he also averages over 2 steals per game. Last season, he had big games against Bingham and Copper Hills, as he averaged over 20 PPG in 5 games against them. The most impressive aspect of his game is that he does not rely on just shooting three-pointers to score the ball. He is one of the best at getting in the paint. Hatton is an elite next-level point guard.

Spence might be among the best-developed PGs in the class. When Spence was a freshman, he was just battling for minutes. Fast forward to his last season as a junior at Dixie; he has become a player who is able to score all over the floor. His athleticism also blossomed. Spence is heading into his senior year and he might be among one of the most dangerous PG's in the state when you clear the floor and let him go.

Miller is a scoring machine, and he is only a junior. Put the ball in his hands, and he'll get you a bucket. If we were to make a list of players who are likely the most exciting and fun to watch, Miller is on that list. His ability to shoot and the quickness with which he gets to his shot is impressive.

Mulford knows how to score the ball, and at times, there is nothing you can do about it. As a freshman, he put up 10 PPG, and he hit 46 three-pointers. This coming season, you can expect him to make more three-pointers than that, and he will average closer to 15 PPG.

Hendrix is a kid you need to watch in person; he is big and strong, and he can fly. The crazy thing about Hendrix is that you might not have seen him play a lot because he was on a loaded Highland team this past year, and now he is going to be on the floor a lot; if he is healthy, he is going to put on a show.

Keep an eye on this kid in Southern Utah. He has the IQ and the skill set to make some noise as a freshman. He had a great grassroots season.

Burt is at Corner Canyon, and he has shown his level of play this fall as he has picked up an offer from Utah already. He is going to be a fun PG to watch. He is quick, he is athletic, and he has a good shot he can fall back on.

Edmonds is making the transition to lead guard, and he has had his moments, but there is a lot to be excited about.
