Within seconds of subbing in, TyTus picked the pocket of an opposing guard, came to a stop off two feet at the rim, and then finished over the top with his left hand. Such a scrappy on-ball defender who is relentless with his pressure on that end of the floor.

Logan was one of the primary ball handling options for Team 8. He changes speed well on the ball, and has a killer crossover to create separation from his defender. Throughout the game he effortlessly created space for his own shots, while also doing a nice job of penetrating the lane and dishing out some accurate passes to his shooters. One of a number of promising young guards coming up out of Apple Valley.

Litecky is a 2030 guard coming up out of Totino-Grace. At 6' his agility and length helped Team 20 constantly pressure and trap opposing ball handlers, forcing a number of turnovers throughout the game I watched. On the offensive end he kept the ball swinging, making quick decisions on whether to shoot, attack, or pass when it came his way. He showed his shooting touch knocking down a corner three in the first half against Team 4.

MJ was electric in the open floor for Team 8. He's lethal in transition because he has the speed to blow by defenders, combined with the quick decision making skills to know when to finish on his own or when to dump it off. Racked up a number of assists that led to easy finishes in transition for his teammates. In the half-court he has good change of speed on the ball, and handles pick & roll situations with the comfort of an upperclassman.

Liam was another scrappy guard on this team causing issues for opposing guards. His lateral quickness helped him stick with opposing guards out on the perimeter, and he showed quick hands to poke the ball free when a chance presented itself. Liam isn't afraid to get in the mix for a loose ball or rebounds against bigger players either. The Becker guard competes with a lot of heart and just wants to make winning plays for his team.

There isn't much left still to say about Paris. He was a walking highlight all weekend long with his above the rim finishes and three point range. At 6'2 he already has good length as a guard, with the handle to create instant offense. Already having a year of varsity experience at the AAAA level under his belt, coming up against players in his own grade simply felt too easy for him at times.

Tyler didn't need to see the ball much to make an impact for his team. He's so active in the half-court, always setting screens to free up his teammates or popping into dangerous areas without the ball looking to catch and shoot. At 6'3 he was one of the bigger players on the floor, and put his size advantage to use on the glass. Moves well at his size which allowed him to guard the 3-5 spots defensively. Tyler flashed some shooting touch out beyond the arc as well.

Zirnhelt is another gritty forward from Team 20 that did a nice job of controlling the glass for his team and quickly finding outlet passes to get his team out in transition. As soon as he pulled in a rebound, Benji's eyes were scanning the floor. He either got it to his point guard or was able to launch a deep pass up the floor to get his team an easy look at the rim before the defense could get back. Showed good touch knocking down a turnaround jumper out of the post in the first half of the game I watched. Now listed at 6'3, Benji has a nice blend of length and athleticism to work with moving forward at Saint Thomas Academy.

Already standing at 6'5, the Providence Academy is more than just a big body in the paint. Less than a minute after checking into the game I watched, Cameron caught on the wing, beat his man with a crossover, and got to the free throw line area for a mid-range jumper. Showed impressive coordination and mobility at his size for a freshman, combined with smooth shooting mechanics. Played a bit of a point-forward role at times as he handles it well at 6'5. One to watch over the long-term as he has an intriguing blend of size and skill at this stage.
