2027s who could boost their stock at the Expo

We are about a week away from the Expo, which will have some of the top Juniors and Seniors in the state in there to make their mark and show that they not only belong but have more to their game. For some, this will be the first time we've saw them since last season, and for others, it's another opportunity for them to put on a show. I feel like there's some intrigue with Jai that has us wondering if there's more to him and his game. Right now, we've changed our tune on his game, especially after the Summer that he had, where he turned some heads. He checked off boxes that we questioned, like his ball handling, defending on guards, and ability to facilitate while battling against some of the top players, and we want to see more of that. This is the perfect setting for him to do just that. We know he has range and can shoot it. He had to miss a year due to the transfer rule, and now each time out is a showcase for him so being in front of everyone and stacking solid performances should go a long way. I'd highly recommend Jai specifically to get out to the event if he's looking for a boost.     The hype is starting to get there with colleges paying attention, and I just feel like he should ride that momentum right now. Our showcase will have coaches checking in, either in person or online, and he's a name that I am certain that they're checking for. Lane's summer has him as one of the most intriguing seniors in the state, as he can score with ease, is a physical guard who battles on both ends, and understands when to take over. Well, this is the event for him as he'll be up against some other top guards who will challenge him. Lane has been a name to keep eyes on for some time now, but this year is a big one for him, and this can get him on the right foot.     Medina is such an intriguing prospect that I feel everyone is going to ask themselves how he was under the radar for so long after this season. He was such a big part of the championship run for Rock Canyon, and he's somehow gotten even better, and he had a Summer where he didn't only turn heads locally, but out of state as well. He's a nightmare matchup as he can score both inside and out, his body is coming along, and he's starting to see plays develop before he makes his move now, which has been beneficial. He'll likely be a starter this year, and I am sure that college attention will start kicking off soon. This will be a great opportunity to get some in-state buzz before the season and put the rest of the state on notice. We'd like for him to get out to the event.     We haven't seen much of Henry since the state championship, and right now we'd just like to get eyes on him in preparation for a big season for Kent Denver, where he might go into the season as their go-to guy, and every team is going to give them their best. He was such a pivotal part of their championship team, and now with the attention on him every chance that he gets to stand out, he should take it. This is also a measuring stick opportunity for him as well to try to boost his stock and get more eyes on him. He has solid size, he's skilled both inside and out, and can compete on both ends. This will be a year that he sees plenty of defensive looks, he'll have to be an alpha and take over scoring opportunities and just provide more, and this is a place he can kickstart that.     Dayton has had quite the high school career so far, and not enough people know about it. But that's on him to make them believers, and getting out to events like this could push people in the right direction. Any player that's able to average almost 20 points a game for a season can play, and now it's about showing that he could still be productive amongst the state's best. He was a stock booster this Summer as more people got to see him in competitive games. He showed versatility, offensive star power, and the ability to get to where he wants no matter who was in front of him. He played both on an offball alongside other solid players and that was the first time that we got to see him in that kind of light. We think he should get out to the showcase for more of that and further prove that he's one of this class's better players. Would highly recommend for him to be there.     Conrad instantly becomes one of the most important complementary pieces in the state as he's catapulted into a position to lead as well as help Rangeview this year, and he should be ecstatic about that opportunity. He's been a player who came in with a buzz, then that slowed down a bit, and now it's time to get it back booming. He's a quick guard who spaces the floor, attacks in iso's, and forces the mismatch, and will be looked at to keep the offense going at times. He is also able to speed opposing guards up and force turnovers, and this will be an opportunity for more to see him that did not this Summer. There should be high expectations on him this year, and this can be a way to get more eyes on him leading into the season.     Williamson could finish off his Senior year with a bang as there's an opportunity for him this year to make his mark. Now, we just have to see him do everything in how power to put his name out there more, and this is the chance for him to do that. We saw Miles early on in his HS career, and he's had his highlight moments where we wondered if there's more to his game, and wanted him to just keep that momentum going. Then there was a hiatus where we didn't see much of him. But, this past summer, he put it together as we saw a bit of him, and there are things to be excited about. He can be a glue guy and spark for that Creek team that needs someone to come in and cause chaos. He's skilled and has a solid basketball IQ, plays hard when he has been given the chance, and getting out to the event can help him with trying to get more attention his way.
