Wings Take Top Five Spots Overall in 2028 Rankings

What he did in June and July was absolutely amazing as in camp, high school, and EYBL settings he consistently was the best player on the floor.&nbsp; Elite three level scoring shooting guard that has the look of a future NBA player with his size, athleticism, and high skill level.&nbsp; The lefty small forward operates as a point-forward for both his high school and [program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] teams.&nbsp; Elite level passer with vision and an advanced feel for the game as a distributor.&nbsp; Can make tough shots from just about anywhere on the floor with super deep range.&nbsp; Slick ball handler that can create and get to his spots with relative ease.&nbsp; Plays with good pace on the ball while flashing solid feel as a distributor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2538631' first='Grant' last='Smith'] (Lyons)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Smith moved into the top 5 with a very strong June and July.&nbsp; He was one of the most impressive prospects regardless of class.&nbsp; Super bouncy small forward that can slide up to play some four when needed.&nbsp; What is impressive with him is his combination of elite athleticism and high skill.&nbsp; Plays above the rim on both ends of the floor throwing down dunks and blocking shots.&nbsp; Quality rebounder and defender.&nbsp; Also stretches with his shooting at a nice clip from three.&nbsp; Became one of the more complete players in class over summer.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2542412' first='Chase' last='Kasten'] (Normal Community)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kasten continues to be a consistent mainstay in the top 5 overall of the 2028 class.&nbsp; The skilled small forward has a great frame and fluid athleticism.&nbsp; Scores it with ease from multiple levels including a feathery jump shot and uses his athleticism off the bounce to get downhill for scores.&nbsp; Potential to be a quality defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2532003' first='Joey' last='Jakstys'] (Yorkville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jakstys is a bouncy small forward that can also play some four as well.  His athleticism jumps off the floor on both ends where he impacts as a defender along with excellent slasher.  Crisp jump shot as well to go with the plus athleticism and two way ability.  Mid-major prospect all the way!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2540198' first='Terrence' last='Davis'] (Libertyville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Davis is a combo guard from Libertyville that leans toward the two spot, but is more than capable of playing on the ball as well. &nbsp;Quick twitched athlete that accelerates with the rock in his hands getting to the cup with burst and finishes extremely well at the rim.&nbsp; Blows past defenders with his handles on the regular along with mixing in pull up jumpers.&nbsp; In transition is where he really shines getting to the rack and passing.&nbsp; Impactful defender with his anticipation and physical tools.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3665311' first='Kayden' last='Turner'] (Peoria)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Turner is a big two guard with broad shoulders and long arms.&nbsp; One of the cleanest looking shots in the junior class as he pours them in at a high clip with regularity.&nbsp; Can do it off movement, spotting up, or off the bounce.&nbsp; That is where he will make his money at the next level, but there is some off the dribble and playmaking in the bag as well which could breakout this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2194655' first='Braydon' last='Porter'] (Yorkville)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Porter is a strong and super athletic wing that brings those gifts on both ends of the floor.&nbsp; Versatile defender on the wing checking one through threes along with being a quality rebounder.&nbsp; Offensively he is at his best getting downhill and out in the open floor although he has shown growth as a shooter over the last year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2751060' first='Brady' last='Jones'] (Metamora)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jones is one of the best prospects in central Illinois.&nbsp; Strong and skilled small forward who has been super productive in his first two seasons for Metamora.&nbsp; Plus shooter from three that can knock them down spotting up along with being a movement shot maker.&nbsp;
