We continue to do some looking ahead at the upcoming winter hoop season, this time examining the potential favorites in the 2A. Bremerton should enter the year as the undisputed favorites, considering they have the top player in the state, and have won back-to-back titles. Anacortes, Selah, Bainbridge, Pullman, Tumwater, Woodland and Renton all return key players and the majority of their rosters. Each team has at least two to three key players they can rely on night after night, and have shown the depth needed to matchup with the top teams in their classification. Players like [player_tooltip player_id='2844981' first='Spencer' last='Roberts'] (Anacortes), [player_tooltip player_id='2844985' first='Lucas' last='Roberts'] (Anacortes), [player_tooltip player_id='2384352' first='Oliver' last='Pepper'] (Selah), [player_tooltip player_id='2954844' first='JR' last='Depell'] (Selah), [player_tooltip player_id='2628458' first='Ryan' last='Rohrbacher'] (Bainbridge), [player_tooltip player_id='2729704' first='Kethan' last='Reed'] (Bainbridge), [player_tooltip player_id='3163517' first='Vaughn' last='Holstad'] (Pullman), [player_tooltip player_id='2375341' first='Cade' last='Rogers'] (Pullman), [player_tooltip player_id='2835580' first='Gavyn' last='Dealy'] (Pullman), James Morgan (Tumwater), [player_tooltip player_id='3585280' first='Landon' last='Anchors'] (Tumwater), [player_tooltip player_id='3585281' first='Luke' last='Overbay'] (Tumwater), [player_tooltip player_id='3312404' first='Jackson' last='Gabbard'] (Woodland), Michael Belvin (Woodland), James Long (Woodland), [player_tooltip player_id='2392951' first='Sudan' last='Luok'] (Renton), and Julius Kelley-White (Renton).

Then there are three strong programs who graduated some of the top 2A players from a year ago. After going 27-1 last season, R.A. Long prepare for the winter without five key seniors from last year, but had four freshmen and a sophomore behind them. Grandview and West Valley-Spokane are two other teams who lost a key starter from last year. The Greyhounds head into this winter without last seasons' 2A Player of the Year Francisco Medina, and while the Eagles return their star guard [player_tooltip player_id='2674683' first='Nathan' last='Zettle'], they also lost a key senior in Noah Willard.

Can Bremerton finish out this incredible run with yet another state title? Or will one of these teams, or even another not mentioned, hoist the trophy at the end of the year? Let us know who you think will finish the year out on top in the 2A.

https://poll.fm/17280652
