The PrepHoops Expo in Baton Rouge was easily one of the biggest events of the year. Some of the top players in the state showed up to compete in a series of intense 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 competitions to show exactly what they have been working on. Some players have grown. Others have clearly hopped in the weight room to add muscle, unlock new levels of athleticism, extend the range on their jump shots, or tighten up their ball handling. This was a showcase of pure skill, determination, and ultimate bragging rights.

The showcase featured juniors and seniors from all across the state. As upperclassmen, this was their chance to compete and earn serious clout. In a showcase setting like this, your graduation year simply does not matter. It is all about who shows up, who competes, and who catches the attention of the scouts in the gym. Below are the standout players who earned their spot on our All-Expo Showcase Team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2758964' first='Ryan' last='Robertson'] took home MVP honors as a high-flying stock-riser who consistently put his elite athleticism and shot-making ability on full display. He dominated transition play and proved he could score from anywhere on the floor when his team needed a bucket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2471563' first='Kellen' last='Brewer'] lived up to his billing as a nationally ranked Louisiana phenom. He dominated the floor with an unmatched motor, combining high-level basketball skills with freakish, explosive athleticism that left defenders scrambling.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194600' first='Christian' last='Clair'] proved to be a crafty and poised point guard. He utilized a high basketball IQ to manipulate defenses, setting up his teammates while proving he can score at will in a variety of creative ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='2529000' first='Tyler' last='Brazier'] stood out as a skilled point guard with a relentless, never-quit attitude. He functioned as a high-IQ playmaker on every possession and established himself as a natural stat-sheet stuffer who impacts every facet of the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532384' first='Khaelyb' last='Creighton'] established himself as one of the weekend's most serious stock-risers. He showed off an incredibly polished, versatile skill set, making a massive impact whether he was operating with the ball in his hands or moving off of it.

[player_tooltip player_id='3596647' first='Bryson' last='Miles'] is a long and rangy wing player who caught everyone's attention with his composure. He played with immense poise, showcased sharp skills on the perimeter, and demonstrated a massive developmental upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='3622702' first='Jayden' last='Austin'] continued his run as the summer's most visible and exciting player. He is an explosive, high-flying athlete who is incredibly fun to watch, and the scariest part for opponents is that he is still continuously improving. He is a D1 talent with an underdog mentality looking to take on that top spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532091' first='David' last='Thomas'] showed that he is much more than just a sniper. In addition to his elite outside shooting, he has added a lethal mid-range game and strong slashing ability to go along with his newly added physical size. DT is not going away anytime soon, and plays the game like he has something to prove.

[player_tooltip player_id='2532096' first='Jay' last='Dantzler'] played with a massive chip on his shoulder from the opening tip. He utilized his quick handle to prove he is one of the shiftiest, most elusive, and hardest-to-guard players in the entire state.

[player_tooltip player_id='3622695' first='Keith' last='Collins'] asserted himself as a powerful, dominant two-way force. He returned to the court noticeably bigger, stronger, more athletic, and highly skilled, easily cementing his status as one of the absolute best overall players in the gym.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132763' first='Mason' last='Newman'] raised his recruiting stock significantly over the weekend. He showcased a highly improved three-point shot stretching the defense, and just doing all the little things while remaining highly productive. He has made a big jump this summer and is ready to increase his role as Zachary looks to make it three in a row.

[player_tooltip player_id='2195043' first='Skyler' last='Garrison'] excelled as a highly skilled big man who can stretch the floor. He proved he possesses both a physical inside game and a polished outside game, standing out as a premier two-sport prospect with limitless athletic potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='3557552' first='Jaydon' last='Francis'] jumps in the conversation for best point guard in the state by putting in the work and showing he is a supreme facilitatoru but a high level shot maker. Excellent performance to close out the summer.

The talent on display in Baton Rouge made one thing abundantly clear: Louisiana's upperclassmen are not resting on their laurels. Players returned to the court physically transformed, mentally sharper, and playing with an aggressive edge that kept scouts and spectators on the edge of their seats all weekend.

As the high school season approaches, the battles fought at this Expo will set the tone for what promises to be an incredibly competitive year. These standouts have successfully raised their recruitment stock, put the state on notice, and established themselves as the premier names to watch. The summer grind is officially over. Now, it is time to see who carries this momentum into the winter and cements their legacy on the high school stage.
