ULM Team Camp Standouts

The AAU Season has come to a close and now players are locked in and attending showcases and elite camps. Each of these types of events offers a unique opportunity to expand a player's recruiting profile. There may be college coaches in the gym, AAU coaches that show up for scouting or even random scouts that have contacts at the collegiate levels looking for hidden gems. Either way, the grind does not stop. Here are some of the players that stood out at the ULM Team Camp.    Kellen Cash picked up right where he left off this summer, proving to be a highly skilled prospect with a lethal stroke from beyond the arc. As the saying goes: if he can see the rim, he can knock down the shot. However, Cash proved he is far more than just a specialist by running the lanes hard and finishing in transition, demonstrating great composure and skill with the ball in his hands.     [player_tooltip player_id='2132749' first='Jaiden' last='Hall'] physically looked like a college player in the gym, getting whatever he wanted during the scrimmage sessions. He dominated by making tough shots, facilitating the offense, and actively jumping passing lanes on defense. Hall gets both feet into the lane with ease, consistently hitting teammates in their spots, and his calm demeanor under pressure makes him an easy target for next-level programs.       [player_tooltip player_id='3732585' first='Joshua' last='Harris'] looks to be pushing 6'5", but instead of trying to strictly dominate inside the paint, he stretched the floor and knocked down deep corner three-pointers. Once he established his outside threat, he systematically took his game inside, utilizing his size to finish highly efficiently around the rim. He had a strong day at the camp entering the Louisiana prospect conversation.     [player_tooltip player_id='2528351' first='Kyan' last='Carmouche'] might be one of the most slept-on players in his class, consistently showing up to events and producing at a high level. He proved to be an incredibly efficient scorer both inside and out, while also operating as a highly willing facilitator in a very solid overall camp performance. Carmouche checks all the boxes in every situation. He will step into a bigger role this season, but has the tools to deliver.     Action Jackson displayed a controlled handle and obvious next-level skill, which is no surprise given he shares a high school backcourt with three Division 1 guards. Hobbs completely controlled the tempo of every game and showcased his entire bag, getting downhill at will, pulling up for mid-range jumpers, and entering what players call the "flow state" to hit outside shots at an absent minded, highly impressive level. Sometimes you just smile when a player is in the zone, and if you were in the gym it was a clear great day for Jackson.    This is just the first article about the ULM Camp Standouts.
